Really loving Extinction. After Scorched Earth, Extinction made me love ASA again, from aesthetics point of view. Doesn't have too much of the Center's smooth unfinished muddy cliffs. Because it is overland, it's not held back by lighting issues and saturation from Aberration. I still do wish lighting in ASA UE5 engine is better. And overall, the game looking less grainy would be nice. But it's great overall.

Total servers added for NA PvE when we exclude the expiration set was 9... 9 servers, that's 630 slots for the ENTIRETY of Xbox AND Microsoft PC gamers.. which of course were shared with PS and steam players. I didn't think they could do worse than the Ab launch, and yet they did.

On Xbox single player: Yesterday, the map was running smoothly, with no disconnection issues. I was happy, especially after how broken AB was from the start! I played a little bit today and got disconnected, and ever since, I haven't been able to get back on. Hopefully, this won't be an issue for too much longer. EX is my favorite map!

@LoadedCrysis You really need to do a video about the Incompetent roll out Extinction and the fact released less than HALF the total amount of PVE servers compared to Abb. After XBOX got their update, they only released 8 EU-PVE servers and 9 NA-PVE servers Total. All the while, they released an over abundance of PVP servers half of which sit there with less than 20 player on them at a time!! Players have been asking for more servers all damn weekend. They should have been prepared to released at least 130 total PVE servers once the XBOX players received their update.

Speaking from official PvE perspective. The Map is AMAZING, Effects, and everything seems top notch! My only issues is with the Chinese players blocking of 80% of the map and Dino spawns with Foundations and pillars and then they sell the land for real money on websites! Also you can't login to the servers due to being capped all the time but this is just temporary I believe in a week or 2 things will calm down a bit or new servers will be added. The real problem is with the level of toxicity from the community WildCard need to increase the rule of land claiming! Like for example any foundation that is not connected with 3 more foundations (total of 4) and a smithy will be auto decay destroyed. I know that this is nothing but at least it will slow them down.

Same, got on immediately with the fresh servers for Xbox launch and thought my luck was in, then my pick engram disappeared so had to relog and it took 4hrs to get back on, was almost asleep by then. Managed to get a bed down in the "wee hours" of the morning but not been able to get back on since. Seems worse than all the other launches, I usually got on within an hour of spamming join.

Battle rigs are probably the best . Vehicles are unlocked at "lv 50"... but "megelab" and "element imbued gas" at "lv 92" ? Instead of delays, they need to check all items and being craft able with the according engrams/levels that go together... It makes since to craft gas before the vehicles...

What I don’t understand is the lvl logic of element gasoline… You unlock the garage at lvl 50, and you NEED the element gasoline to both power your rig, AND craft some things for it, but… you can’t even make the stuff until your level 92??????? Wtf is that logic???????

To be honest on thing that Corrupted Dinos were not actually hostile to anything back on evolved last time I played, the corrupted were still allies with other bosses and were friendly to Normal Rexes and Spinos, and other Dino’s similar, but in Ascended they changed it to make them hostile to anything that walks. Personally tho I wish they expanded the stuff that would spawn in the Sanctuary like the Drones or expanded the corrupted dinos with new ones, however they still have the corrupted Stego using the old TLC model.

I don't know what version of Evolved you played that made corrupted not hostile, corrupted creature have always been hostile to everything that moves, that was true with evolved too

Wild cards biggest flaw is you can have a $7000 computer and the game still runs like you are using a toaster oven

On the Xbox, after the upload, there were immediate problems I deleted my single player on the other maps and took off mostly all the mods. Also, after the struggle of getting on the map, getting kicked off both days and unable to get back on is annoying. I only play on single player

I was so keen for extinction since its my favorite map but the crash when creating a character still exists among other crashes and the awful performance (without having to input a console command to turn a bunch of settings down) i really want to play but they really dont make it easy to enjoy the game when there is so many other games to play right now

ARK asa Extinction is the most bug ridden expansion ive ever played, every time i play with the new cars i crash and my save game data gets corrupted i crash every 5 minutes in game only on the new map, i can play on the other maps for hours with no crashes, please fix this game, i have deleted my ark asa off of my ps5 untill its fixed, please someone from the game see this and bring it up, i cant play an unplayable game, i lost my lv 125 character because of the constant crashing on Extinction, fix this please

Thanks to the bugs of mod on update night I lost my whole inventory on the cluster I play on. And until the Dino depot gets updated and fixed(because I can’t get my items back like weapons and armor, but I can’t get my Dino’s back in the balls) I can’t get my Dino ball from the admins thanks to trying to crashing the server.

Extinction is so amazing looking to me and I look forward to big adventures on it. i WOULD LOVE TO JOIN a cluster or server with other people but I have too many prem mods and mods I just like to not be able to use. I know the prem skins mods is fine for any server its the structures I like and the prem dino mods I want to have o my map. sucks.

I Am Loving Extinction But I do wish that king Titan could be tamed or maybe it and the other titans were Chibi pets but other than that a great map I used the Godzillark mod to beat the king titan

Taming the King would be cool, but it admittedly wouldn’t make much sense for him to be tamable as he’s supposed to be the big bad guy of the legacy ARK lore and map’s ultimate objective

Yea , no, I have to log in about 10+ times before I actually get into the game (log in at 0 ping and then get DC msg a bit later), the cars disappear after log in, for me anyways, but map looks good.

Loving the new map. On PS5 here, they need to patch a fix for yhe element dust, cause all the crafted element dust cannot be used for anything. Other than that, it's amazing!

I have a server. I cannot log onto the server. I get to character creation (after it deleted my lvl101 toon) and then the cut scenes play, when they finish it goes black screen with building outlines and then after a few min. I get timed out. I can load any other map and its fine just extinction does this to me. 10/10 NOT INPRESSED.

Xbox keeps deleting all mods and all maps that where modded my astreaos is gone along with my aberation ascended character this is a recurring theme the 1st for me was modded smitheys znd fabricstors outright disapearing with all the items and blueprints inside vsnishing too!

I have done the menu save and dino wipe but still didn't fix the issue and I lost hours of progress prior to knowing the issue. Thanks for the tip but I'm staying out of ark until they fix it properly.

Seems this is the update that finally broke my game. 😞 I can deal with lag, some fuzzy graphics, and sometimes losing mods....cuz i freaking love this game. But now i cant even get into the game for more than 5 seconds without it crashing. I feel like all wc and sg had to do, was to open up mods for console ASE, and theyd be much better off, than they are now. Sigh...really the only reason i play ASA is for the mods, as im on xbox x. Ark quickly became one of my fav games when i first got ASE....i really hope it becomes playable enough, cuz this is just disheartening.

Will they bring the rest of ark ase ammo box that we used to have where you could look at whatever you have in it like a real design and also the egg incubating machine. They took two of the best things out of the game the egg incubator to actually hatch your eggs and I have to really worry about it because you control it and release it whenever you want and then you start raising animal and then the ammo box would you put any weapons or ammo in that that it can hold in it would show you like a live like like it was interactive so if you put like rockets in it, you would see rockets just sitting on the shelf on the ammo box like I missed the ammo box they need to bring that back that was like the best thing art survival evolved, had and the egg incubating machine and ammo box. Why would you take the amazing things away that survival evolved had bring them back please 😢

What are you talking about? Xbox had to wait two additional days for certification while Playstation grabbed up all of the good base locations. Then when Xbox is finally online, they release like 10 more PVE servers and that's it. Instantly full and no way to get in for days. This is your definition of good? I haven't even been able to get into Extinction at all.
