Idea of ark 2 this year or next is just dumb ASA is barely hanging in there as it is due to player base and many other issues.

SOFT issue is that it was a pvp game mode, and there arent alot of ppl really into pvp

Dom, i dont agree with your theory on maps being the reason for asa not being as popular as we all had hoped. I feel like the game changes like the unwanted cryopod changes are a gripe with the game that just doesnt get talked about. If you dont get on maps on official the day/hr they launch, you end up unable to play alot of the map due to everything already being foundationed off, so you cannot put your own powered cryo fridge down to throw out tames. On pve of course.

They should just work on the maps instead of the mods they would of had things fix and done but they keep working on mods I don’t think there should be mods for the game it’s stupid

They took them down cause they were dipping into over spendin with nitrado. Wc is falling behind on payments again well snail games so we will hear worse news in the coming months

I played h1z1 then got sick of BR after a few years then came to Ark. Its starting to feel like the Fortnite of survival games, paid this paid that, money grab money grab. Definitely not the game it was

I just got off and it asa was at 9k+ Iv had a few days off due to surgery and iv been putting in 12+ a day still.. IL always love it

I was just saying this. A lot of Ark content is terrible rn. Very few creators are actually playing and others have just stopped uploading in general. PvP is there higher pop but they just been ignoring and upsetting everyone.

Made it more accessible but died out faster than ever. Though the truth is its just garbage now alongside asa itself, the game was poorly made and the devs lets be honest aren't that good and they suck with doing whats needed if they can ever get around to doing whats needed. All the had to do was copy and paste the last game and change the graphics and fix what needed fixing from ase but instead they remastered the bugs/glitches with asa. They just need to stop everything theyre doing and figure out what needs to change at studio wildcard so they can learn and fix the game and make development on ark 2 better. They need to be listening to the criticism instead of ignoring it, its not good to have a game progressively lose players and have less players return for the big releases. They also need to fire dollie, shes not healthy for the studio and community. Shes always been toxic and she blames the community for it, then a while ago she told people to quit or take a break on asa pretending the game was gonna be improved but its in a worse state than when she said it so why tell people to come back later just for them to hate it even more? People can give her excuses but she no benefit to the company and the franchise

This game from launch till now has been a complete mess. Not just asceneded, but evolved aswell. The Devs are useless, just let it die.

Can tell you really love the game and want nothing but the best for ARK. I’m trying to get back into it, gotta new laptop and it plays silky smooth… I wish I still loved it with the same magic you do. Dunno why it’s so hard for me to get back into it. The jokes on discord from them are…. I mean at least they’re communicating… but with all the drama surrounding this game… they really need to buckle down, be serious and respect its players, and it’s clear they don’t.

SOTF probably would have gotten more interest if we could play on maps like Abberation. The Islands great but a bit basic.

I actually didnt play asa the last 2 Month - and even now its like... Idk... Ark Survival Evolved always catched me. Asa for a some reason does not. Aberation is my all time Favorite and i also love spiders. So more plusses for the devs from me for that. But actually... If Aberation cant rescue asa im out 😢

In terms of Ark 2 I think the smart decision would be to make a beta for Ark 2 and put it on Xbox game pass until it’s actually ready because I doubt they can release Ark 2 this year lol
