Awesome build was hoping for a build tutorial and you delivered! Was super interested in the main hall and the Andrew area. Abit hard to go off the screen shots but definitely appreciate the time and effort put into this. 💯 legend! Showing the layout painted is super helpful as well!

Thanks! Love the input. The main hall is very loose and gave some annoying issues with trying to reverse engineer it, and just wasn't coming together well at all while i was recording and editing. Screenshots seemed to work as the better alt.

I used the basic pillar lowering technique, until it got as low as it could go without going underground.

I've had a few other people say the same thing, and I remember it happened a couple times to me while I was building this. Pretty sure it's either due to it just being a cave, or an out of render/mesh issue. Are you official or unofficial?

This is gorgeous! This is such a good base location and you've absolutely done the best job of putting it to good use from everything else I've seen so far! Question, though! On the front gate, how did you get those triangle ceilings to be a notch higher than the foundations? It's a really crisp look but I can't seem to figure out how to replicate it.

Thanks, mate! Could you timestamp the part you’re talking about? And the ceilings should snap to any foundation. If you’re talking about all of the ceilings that are basically covering th foundations you “trace” the foundations with ceilings. Lmk if that worked.

@@nefarioushaze Oh gotcha! Yeah if I remember right, I pretty much just eye-balled it. And I think I placed them on the bridge with half the pillar hanging off the edge, then I built downward.

thanks, mate! And i put a ladder on the pillar that is connected to the ocean plat, used the ladder as a centering point then ''eye-balled'' the placement of the placement of the pillar it's timestamped at.

I tried that aswell, didn't really work out for me because i kept getting the wrong snap point so i used ghost most for that part. But thank you for answering, recreating this is quite hard haha

@@jaymendes5877 Gotcha. Understandable, it was pretty iffy for me to reverse eningeer and rebuild the build for those that wanted some kind of tut. snap points can be a real pain in ark lol.

If you’re talking about what’s on the ocean platform itself yeah, it’s ceilings they can snap to the surface.

Sorry, man. Reverse engineering the main hall was more complicated than when i had originally built it. So i didn't/don't feel too confident in speed building it let alone a tutorial.

If you’re talking about the Andrew armory, the entrances is tricky. Since I built it in single player, in order to center and line it up like I did I think I had to use ghost mode to get some things to snap.

When you place the triangle foundation for the wall bastions, how are you getting a metal wall on to it? I can't get mine to clip to the foundation. Thanks

You should be able to snap some ceilings to the foundations, then attach some walls up or down lmk if that works😊
