Ark: How to create a dedicated server with Ark Server Manager

In this video i explain step by step on how to create an Ark dedicated server using Ark Server Manager. I had some issues so I wanted to share the steps I took did to get mine to work.
1.Download Ark Server Manager at: arkservermanage...
2. Click Latest.exe to download and install
Under
Latest version:
Windows Installer: Latest.exe - Download and install.
3. Save the "latest" file to your desktop
4. Create a folder on your hard drive and name it Ark Server Data, or whatever you want.
5. Now click on the latest shortcut
6. Click on the ArkServer Manager shortcut
7. Click yes for Admin rights
8. Install the files in the same folder you created in step 4
9. Launch Ark Server Manager
10. In Server manager click the green plus sign in the top left corner
11. Enter a profile name and click save
12. Click the install button (this will install the latest server files for Ark, this may take a few mins)
13. Click Save
14. Once installed go to administrators section
15. Under Administrators:
a. enter a server name
b. Server password
c. Admin password
d. Check to make sure the ports are forwarded in your router and Windows firewall for UDP and TCP
e. local IP: let Ark choose
16. Click save
17. Click Start
Server will take a few min to start then you are all set. once you can join your server you can go back to server manager and tweak any settings you like

I normally don't do this, however, I felt the need to say something. I've been involved with ASM (since about it's inception) and I have to say that some of the advice you've given is incorrect and can lead to people having a corrupt server. Or worse, losing the server altogether. Please, if you're going to post something, make sure the information is accurate. There are FAQ and How-to-Center threads on the ASM forum that cover how to install/setup/manage an ARK server using ASM. Please, go to the source for accurate information. Yes, I am aware that there are other videos out there, however, someone posted on the ASM forum asking for help and linked your video in their thread.
