They're super common in the water at viking bay on ragnarok (the place where theres a big carcass near blue obi), they're supposed to be water creatures but their progamming is hilariously bad so they just get out of the water when they want to. Just get a beaver and max ONLY the melee damage, then pick it up and you're warm enough to not lose hp. For the most part. Otherwise, get better fur armor.

I remember the early days of ark, like the beginning, I was soloing the island doing well, another place popped up near mine, he couldn’t ever find my place but I could see his. Constant war though as we always fought over the same metal resources, one day we are warring as usual when a pack of T rexes come out of nowhere. At the same time we both turned and ran like the cowards we truly were. I had a bronto at my base and a few other tames, he had a lot of Dodos 😂 And raptors. The rexes went for his base first, and I said not like this, charged in with everything I had. Then an alpha raptor joined the party. Together we lost everything had a laugh then we tribed up together and went from there. It only gets worse 😂
