They've destroyed the game on PS5. The input lag is insane, the frames have dropped, the game freezes for a second or two every minute or two. The lighting is also broken.

The game works just fine with the VSYNC in my PS5, 40-60 fps. Im seeing a lot of people complaining about the game perfomance and i don't understand why. Maybe VSYNC activation is bug and some people can't turn it on.

They ruined PvP on smalls. Was looking forward to a new meta on ab and then see pyromanes… instantly logged out. To top it off they add a chest u can transfer loot out with and a pocket watch that lets u set a spawn point and teleport too with gear…. Onlining was already horrendous on ascended without grapple glitching now they made it completely pointless.. devs clearly never pvp’d before. This game is a joke it’s no wonder old ark still has 2x more players. They need to release classic servers with evolved settings/dinos grapple glitching etc or the game is gonna die. Really sux cause I was super excited for ab PvP without flyers… they show blimp with no platform in trailer then release it with platform a day later so now unless u live in 1 of the 3 caves your just gonna get cannoned/ramp soaked. The foot PvP is gonna be entirely pyromane fights… this game is dead to me… sux because they had a recipe for greatness and tossed it down the drain.

@@markus2228 you don’t get the whole point of ark is the ability to be to kill ppl 1000 different ways. It’s what made the PvP fun. Now all PvP is pyromane, no more foot PvP, Now if u manage to kill someone and their tame they pop a pyromane off their shoulder…. If u manage to kill that u can use watch to spawn in base. If u manage to wipe base they magically transferred everything by placing it into a tiny box that magically teleports everything. So all the time and effort u spend to craft enough c4 for a raid to then raid for more mats then u used is out the window unless u offline… let’s face it offlining is mounting a stego. Sooo fun ☹️ I get that’s what most ppl do but when u have 30k between evolved/ascended onlining is where it’s at. They would have to despawn or slowly transfer at least if u wipe them they lose a lot now they can just pick up all turrets but 1 and drop it in the box at the last min. U can’t catch them trying to run with a base of loot. If they don’t have another base np! They can burry it in a box u can’t detect with parasaur… they ruined the game and I own pyromane. It got old 2 maps ago…

What you said about not being able to spawn the stuff in is true they actually don't allow you to spawn the BTT items in at all so if you want to use them you HAVE to buy the BTT DLC to spawn them in and use them hell you can't even tame the Cosmo spider without buying the DLC same thing applies to the Pyromane too (Even though you can still spawn the Pyromane without buying it but you can't use it). And Also BTT Chapter 3 is going to have even more P2W stuff like Weapon Traits for Tek weapons (Unsure if it will also effect non Tek weapons) plus the fact you will also be able to build weaponised vehicles and Territory Claiming which is going to be a massive P2W DLC.

Originally Ark Ascended was mean to cost 70$ or 80$ i think, and when people reacted they dropped the price to 40$, so i guess they cut all the new content Asa would add to incluide it in Bob Tales so you still pay the 70$. Ark has been always pay to win since the first Dlc, at least is entertaining content, but kinda sucks. If you're gonna argue that they need more money to keep working on the game go and ask Snail Games CEO on what did he spent the money that was mean to be inverted in Ark. ark pay to win dlc has never been limited to the new maps, as long as server transfers existed people have always been transfering dlc stuff to non dlc server for an advantage. while yes, this too is pay to win. its not any worse than all the previous dlcs so idk why its suddenly after 8 years

Because as mentioned, in single player you could spawn everything in free, on officials it was still effort transferring creatures over and you could play on clusters closed off from dlc, now it's in ya face, on every map straight away, there's no chance for players to build up like they used to safe for a while. It was never OK before but it felt like supporting them as they didn't have skins or mxt was fair trade off, now ark does all 3 yet the quality of the game isn't really any better, barely any actual qol updates, certainly nothing compared to what you see in games like rust, that's why dlc on general needs to offer better value as well as not he so pay to win

All these new paid items are just re-skinned mods that are free. It's for all the people that, for some reason, want to play on Official servers. I get a kick out of people saying, "Well it's only a few bucks...". These are the same people that were screaming when they announced the price change when ASA first came out. Basically we are still paying extra for each map as it releases like ASE, with the option to not pay extra if u want. It's not great, I'd prefer everyone to be on the same page all the time, but tbh it simply doesn't bother me. I get so much value from Ark stuff, I am pretty happy to pay. But I do get why ppl see it differently, just for me it's still amazing value. If it wasn't good value for me I'd just play something else. Or like fallout 76 where I play basic without 'fallout 1st', it's all my choice. (always good to hear Jade's view tho).

I expect them to recoup their money somehow. And the value you get out of bob's tales is MORE than worth it. This game cane out last year, it's a bare bones unfinished remaster, not 8 years ago. They have micro transactions as well as money from sponsored mods, look at no man's sky and it free updates, even smaller games like green hell managed to avoid paid dlc, dlc should be complimentary rewarding well taken care of games that provide consistant good products, just look at delay after delay, barely any qol updates for this remaster and previous game then look anywhere else like rust with its free content updates each month, but only sell skins for most part save one or two one offs, now stfu about people touching grass, not every game deserves unfiltered support no matter how crap they are, no game with pvp elements should sell advantages, it's akways been an issue it just more apparent now everyone plays on sane maps immediately

I care very little for the dlcs, from a business standpoint they're giving people a good deal. You get the game for the base price of 60 or 70 whatever it is atm and all past dlc maps are now FREE, they're going to need to add some dlc to get any money from it. We bought ASE and all its DLCs. Then we were told the remaster would be free (it wasn’t). We bought the base game and shouldn’t be forced to buy dlcs to keep up. Now we have to either buy to stay on equal footing or work twice as hard for the same outcome. Yes they need revenue but this is not the way. Look at Fornite (besides some skins) the meta was never bought yet they made millions on a game that was free. It’s because of the way the company handled things

Don’t personally care. Content is good - it’s improvement. Official PVP is not what drives this game and keeps it playable long term, so they are appealing to the majority market if their player base. I get PvPers can’t stand pay to win, and i do understand that, especially in a game where PVP is the main part of the game, but that’s not the case per say with this game, so it doesn’t bother me or make me feel any way about the content being pay to win. But that’s just my Opinion. Now, I agree that the items from BTT shouldn't be locked behind a paywall, but let's be fair, these items do not make you 'win,' they add QOL stuff that makes the game more enjoyable. Also, in case you haven't figured it out yet, these maps' BTT content costs $10 a piece. That's a bargain!! it's not like it's $30 per map, instead, the whole season pass is $30! Are you that dumb man, remastered game offer all dlc as free, you nit getting free maps it wa part of the initial purchase ya now waiting over 2 years to get completed, and yes it has always been pay to win, and nothing has improved with all the money they made? Releases in time? Regular bug fixes and qol improvements, get ya head out of ya dinos bum look around at games like nms rust even dayz, all adding content with the right kind of player support, not milking with mtx, paid mods and season passes for content we know nothing really about till release day, it doesn't mater if tehy give tiny or big advantages they give them, the trait machine especially, not sure how that's not very clear

hows about noooo! i have 2 other channels that actually provide my income, ark barely makes me 75 dollars a month, onc ethey add soemthing that isnt broken, delayed or pay to win then maybe i can be more positive and do mor ethen news? fyi covered ark for 9 years on my other channel, 30 million views making guides and gameplay, i would love to do more of that but yeah ark isnt worth my time right now, doesnt mean i dont want to in future if they can get their stuff together, simple reply also? just watch soemoen else and stop crying about others opinions

Just pay for the expansion packs you bunch of cheap skates. It’s like in the 80s when a D&D board game was released, there would be expansion sets and of course you would have to pay to play them and the characters would be cool and sometimes OP. Just buy it or shut it

@@JadePG2 but Abberation Ascent does exist, even without Tall Tales, so they are separate programs. If I can get Ascended Abb without the Tall Tales pack, then Tall Tales is the P2W problem, not the free DLC it rode in on.
