ARK: SE - SDA Coast Guard Patrol Boat - Motorboat build tour (Xbox/PC No Mods)

The "SuperDooM's Armada Coast Guard Patrol Boat". A much more complex build than it seems. There's FOUR separate layers of Floor Foundations. Two for the body of the boat - one for the main deck, and one for the half-walls surrounding it. Then the other two layers are for the box housing - One half-Wall height offset and the other deck height. But both are aligned in the center AND aligned length-wise with the deck foundations. A knowledgeable builder knows what I mean... lol

I have a question. Is there a way to put vacuum chambers under a motorboat to make a moveable sub without an underwater dino?

Good question! The short answer for vanilla builds is No. :( But an alternative answer is Yes, IF you're using the S+ mod. Only the S+ VC can snap to Rafts/Motorboats. They don't even need to stay physically attached to the boat, they can free-float. So you can have a VC sub floating deep under the raft. Can confirm they function just fine on boats. The only "bug" being a minor visual one where the water surface is always shown, the VCs don't make a hole in the surface. You might like some of my other videos though, I've built "surfaced" subs on Rafts with floating helicopter escorts. It doesn't submerge but its still fun!
