In unofficial with fast breed would you say this tame is redundant? For example I went to all the effort but the gestation period was only 5 minutes, meaning I didn't have many opportunities to feed the cravings. What's your recommendation for a server like that for getting the best possible Rhynio despite the limitations?

You may want to reach out to the server owner and ask them to up the breeding and imprint amount along with boosting the amount you get to line up with the time it takes to tame the rynio. Without being able to feed it the levels will never be great. The best you can do is get a level 150 and use something with a high drag weight like a bronto.

I don't think asking the host will be an option in the case of our server, but I will keep an eye out for a high level Rhynio and breed some Brontos and just try to make the best I can with what I've got. I was using a low level one, they're still super fun to use irrespective of the level.

I am not sure what you mean. The trike in the video was for testing. I want to say the trikes drag weight is around 350 or so so it is not good for impregnating for stats.

Basically. It will transfer the number of stat level/points. For example if a baby giga is born with 150 points in melee through mutations or w/e the baby Rhynio will get 150 points into melee if the baby inherits the tamed dino stats and not the wild rhynios stats for melee. Like with all breeding it can inherit stats from either or both parents.

Maybe. If you are playing with higher than official levels so that wilds spawn in above 150 then you would be able to find higher level rhynios. A level 150 Rhynio is all you need for stat transference from a dino. A higher level wild rhynio for example level 400 would have 250 more points into stats. So you have a possibility of getting a much higher base stat from the Rhynio. But a lot of those extra 250 stats are going to be wasted in thing like food oxygen and speed. Speed on a flyer basically deletes the stats. This means you would be pushing toward the level cap if where you play has one, without getting all your points into he stats you want. Since Rhynios inherit stats from the host dino having good stats on a wild rhynio is not all that important anyway. You just need it high enough level to get the 100% egg quality. So it depends if you have dinos with good stats or not and if the baby inherits the host dino stats or the wild rhynios sats.

Is wyvern a good choice? they do have 1000 drag weight, but no one have mentioned or try it....

Most wyverns' drag weights are around 417 with a void wyrm being the heaviest at 550. Gigas, Carchar, Brontos, Rocke elementals, and megachlons are the only dinos with enough drag weight. Not sure golems work though have not tried one.

@@CamwayGaming ah, I mistook the wyvern drag weight with the dragon 😅 but yeah, 400-550 is clearly not very ideal now. How about the water tame, like bassilosaurus with 12000 or tuso with 1500? They do can enter and fight in the water

If you have a dino that is not quite heavy enough for 100% stat transference but has way higher stats than your heavy dinos it might still be worth using. If you find a level 150 Rhynio and feed the baby at every interval and your weight quality is only 50-75% if the baby inherits the host dino stats you should still get a decent amount of the stats. So if you have a rex with 200 points in melee and your Giga bronto ect melee is only 50 points you would still get more points into melee from using the rex.

Not sure depends on the unofficial rule set. When officials existed you could not upload a pregnant dino that was uploaded would no longer be pregnant when downloaded. In ASA officials do not allow for uploading currently but when they do I imagine it will be the same where pregnant dinos will no longer be pregnant.

Are you sure about the rhynio's egg quality. I know their level effects the egg quality but there is another channel saying you only need a lvl 40 or higher for 100% egg quality.

I tested Level 50, 100, and 150s. Hitting every feed interval using brontos with the same stats i could not get the 100 and 50s to get 100% of the parents stats. Being unable to actually see the egg quality percentage makes it hard to say for sure. According to the wiki to get 100% egg quality would be the base level at 25% gaining quality by 2.5% per level. If this is true Then it depends on what base level is is 1 or 5. If it is 1 then a level 31 rhynio would give a 100% egg and if it is 5 then a level 35 for 100% I do not know where the wiki pulled their info from and if it is accurate. It does not match my findings but hey there is a lot of RNG when it comes to Ark and without being able to see the egg quality on the dino I cannot say with 100% certainty that my findings are correct. I could be wrong but if your going for max a 150 is what you want.

Like for instance I've seen videos where the Dino is showing egg quality and host size quality, along with craving satisfaction. I think even when everything is done correctly you still never get the full stats of the Dino you use, only a percentage of it no? This creature's very confusing so sorry for all the questions 🤣

@@dungoncrazy2634 If you get everything to 100% perfect the stats that do come over will be the same number of levels/points as the parent the stats were inherited from. A baby can inherit stats from one or both parents. If not every single stat was inherited from the tame so seem low in points then that was Inherited from the Rhynio parent but it should be 100% of the Rhynios levels/points in that stat. You can get a full stat transfer from a tame but it is rare for it to happen. As far as seeing egg quality ect I believe it is a mod specifically for seeing breeding stats. I have only recently started messing around with mods so I am unsure what the mod is called. I have spent the majority of my time in Ark on official pvp servers.

Very rare spawns on the islands and the dino difficulty is set lower so finding anything above level 90 is rare that is ho most cannon maps are the non cannon maps like rag its rare to find dinos under level 90.

@@blakestation2632 force max difficulty does not work on single player. Or at least it didn't a year ago 6 years after release if it does now they patched it. I cant recall how you do it but there is a way to edit the ini files to up the chance of higher levels to spawn. If you do that then finding higher levels would be easier. On officials maps like the center and rag have a higher level for dinos and the cannon maps have the lower default levels.

This is weird, i used a giga my first run on a level 65 female, didnt do any cravings and it turned out to be a level 10 baby, then i used a rex with decent stats on a level 15 rhynio, only was able to do 1 craving and it turned out to be a level 13.. is the babys level based off cravings because i only gained 3 levels so far, Im confused on how to get a high level

currently they are rare spawns this is normal in the first couple weeks of a new dino coming out. Not only do very few spawn but everyone is out trying to get one or kill them to keep others from getting it. This dino seems to only respawn every 2-8 hours and server restarts

I think a rex only gives 75% on the dino size part. But if the rex has the most points of all your dinos 75% stats may still be more you'll just need to do some math to find out.

you have to keep killing dinos in the area currently the census is that it takes 2-8 hours for a rhynio to spawn. You need to kill everything including the fish every 45 minutes until one spawns. Server restarts will usually force 1 to spawn. IF you are on single player well last time I tested they were just not spawning on single player.
