It's actually not recommended that you kill the beavers, cause they can make more dams. The way I do it is bring some sort of flyer, eat a rare flower, and lure the beavers away, then after the flower wears off, grab the loot and run.

I stand on a wyvern, grab all, fly up (once, so that beavers don’t hit), and throw away anything you don’t need and keep going, that way beavers just build again when you leave

I agree all the new bobs on my server will kill all the beaver dams when there’s like a good dozen in an small area. They haven’t figured out the value yet Leave the damn beavers alone. Take what you need and leave.

The swamp cave is how I got paste until I got enough of a farm (with S+ stuff) to make veggie cakes easily, for an achatina farm. I'd take a couple beelzebufo, and sometimes a ravager or two for tanking the arthropleura (because they kept destroying my gas masks and armor). Great guide here. Seriously helpful info and solid format. Another thing to note, though: You get black pearls from killing tusoteuthis. So if you have the means to kill squids (really easy once you tame a decent one and level it up, or a good basilosaurus), you can farm black pearls fairly easily.

Hi James! Thanks for the information. I never knew about the frogs. One last way to get cementing paste is by using an industrial grinder and grinding saddles you find in drops. Certain ascendant saddles drop thousands of paste.

Before they added casteroides, we use to run the swamps with a wolf and frog team to kill bugs and farm the cp from their corpses.

Lower South Cave (Hunter) might be good as well, its an easy cave with lots of spiders & centipedes, just keep an eye on the boas & your topor Also good spot to grab a dung beetle when you are there already

I just made a 8x8 pen using rock doorways as a wall and chucked a wild beaver into it then he makes a dam quite regular and as he's only a level 4 whenever I want to harvest his dam a couple of trank darts puts him to sleep then I just harvest his past and other stuff when he wakes up he starts a new dam

Hey friend. You can tame snails on scorched you just have to delve deep into the church cave and find a level 150, they do spawn rather often. Most are in the 2-300s and are indeed un tameable but find a 150 and youre all set. Good luck on your series :)

There are actually 6 locations where beaver dams spawn, one in between the hidden lake (top right location) and the location below it. (Disclaimer: this video was made years before this comment so this might not have been the case when the video was made)

Hi I have a question, it’s a bit difficult for me to cook sweet cake so I was wondering, would it work if I catch a wild Achatina with my Argentavis and I bring it to my base and put in an enclosed space still wild, will it still produce cementing paste? Also, being still wild, I should not need to feed it cake right? Cheers!

I believe they will drop some on the ground. So you'll be able to pick a couple up here and there, but you won't be able to get the stack of paste they can craft in their inventory.

Swamp cave good in theory but the arthos will destroy your armor if your on small tames, better off just bringing a theri or a mega and make the cp yourself. Or bring a lot of back up sets of armor.

Beaver dams, grab your parasaur and park it right next to the damn grab the whole dam and jump on the parasaur and run off. Im usually gone before i see a beaver dont like to kill them slmetime my game doeant spawn more back in that area.

This don't work well on SP. Cementing paste is the hardest resource to farm. Because dinos don't respawn on caves (SP). With a Belze in swamps You can collect some CP but You need patience. The Best way i found is going to the swamp with 4 Megatheriums, and kill everything here. You can get like 1000 of chitin per hour (in Game). You can also boost this amount taming 10 snails in this area gathering loots of CP and Honey from the Big trees in RedForest. - Sorry for My English.
