Ark Training Guide 200 - 250

More edgy skill names than I care to remember.
God damn, is Ark fun to play. It's probably the smoothest combo-based class in the game currently, and it doesn't fall into any of the traps other combo classes do to boot.
It's mobbing, generally a combo classes weakest category, is above average right out the gate. With potential for maximum sweat rotations to break it into the great category for slower spawn speeds in larger maps. Ark was made to roll with Wild Totem spawn speeds. Frenzy on the other hand, it's good, just restrictive.
For bossing, Ark feels at its best when animation canceling for bossing. That is, when you dont accidentally Yeet yourself into the stratosphere missing a animation cancel. It's smooth as butter if you don't mess up the key inputs and it flows so good. Until you go to AS0, then trouble starts brewing. The faster your attack speed, the harder it is to animation cancel skills consistently, and quickly enough to warrant using them as a DPS increase. It's possible, just gets harder and less consistent thanks to GMS AS0.
Ark is a very mobile class, so it's ideal fit is a mid to large size map for training. However those maps are just too big to rotate quickly enough on Frenzy spawn, so squishing Ark down into Smaller to Small-Mid sized maps proved to be pretty tricky. However, for the maps that it worked on, it felt amazing.
The rotations become second nature as you train, and it almost gets to the point where you don't even need to watch your screen to know that Ark is taking care of business. This class just works so well with muscle memory.
Honestly, this is THE go to recommendation for someone looking for a comboing class in MapleStory. There isn't anything quite like it. The other combo classes just have a level of clunk that is completely absent on Ark. It's in a league of its own.
Do yourself a favor, if for nothing more than a BiS link skill. Play Ark.
