You Left out a massive amount of info on these caves, just lost 3 kits and 2 tames because you lazily god mode through these caves just to push out content.. Please do more in depth videos instead of this bs, you cant fly in caves, you cant touch the ground in the temple, there's poisonous gas in the spider cave, etc..

In the spider cave use a ravager, where you drop down after getting the first artifact make a zip line down, get the 2nd artifact then go back up the zip line, jump back over the gap, next room has two tunnels, right is back towards the entrance, take the left until you come to a biggish room, go down the tunnel on the right and you'll come to some water, swim through to the artifact then go back the way you came and take a left, it's a lot faster the way Steve went plus you can go in and out on a mount

The red zone is easier to find if you go to the aberration area from the cave at around 39 56, if you just keep following the right wall you will eventually run into the red zone. Hoped that helped someone :)

You cant fly into the cave with the Devourer and Brute artifact anymore on official. You have to fight through but there is an exit out of the cave without flyers or grappling hooks. Right under the artifact of the devourer there is a passage that leads to a water area. You can swim up it and get out that way and end up just before the drop at the start

Full ghille suit with bug repellant lets you avoid almost all of the fighting, and you can run from the ones that aggro you. Just bring your ghille, a basic pick, a couple crossbows (one for ziplines, one for hooks) and an assortment of zipline anchors and grappels, plus some gas and a zipline motor. If you die, you didn't lose a tame or anything irreplaceable.

You can fly down the big drop in the waterfall in the beginning for some reason, but nowhere else. So it is definitely possible to fly out that way on offical (just did it yesterday). You can't fly anywhere else though.

Heck, my Argy handles the wyverns pretty well. Just get the to chase you near the ceiling- their turn radius is awful so once you get on their inside just claw them till they drop.

I know this is 4 years old but after you get the Brute, when you say "there's a straight tunnel here, and then a ramp and a right turn, and we go right" if you actually go straight, it will take you to the beginning. I could see where I parked my wyvern from where you said to go right.

here's the thing nooblets, since you are already cheating by going into spectator mode to walk us through, why cant you pump up the gamma so we can see where you are going? and as for the last three, it would have been wonderful if you warned people that those caves are full of poison gas and they will need either the gas mask or a full tek suit to get through without dying

I enjoyed doing the caves on TheIsland. The ones on this map are just annoying. And if you don't watch videos (like I didn't initially), you're stuck going in, finding out what things you need to bring with you, leaving, coming back with those things, finding out further in you need something else, leaving, coming back, etc. And then being surprised with stuff like insta-death floors, rooms large enough you have respawns while you're IN the room, and more. And even worse, the fact that some of the artifacts are in a complex/difficult cave WITH the Broodmother in front. And she drops nothing of value herself. My server has 20 Megatherium, 4 Yutys, and 6 Allosaurus just parked in her pit set on wander. Wall on the slope in, and a wall keeping them out of the cave (with door & gate for anyone to use). Stops her from ever respawning again, and nobody has complained yet.

What this tutorial fails to mention (because he likes to just fly cam everything) is that the broodmother cave is swarming with op bugs, as well as being full of toxic gas. Good luck solo'ing this without some kinda of pumped up mount as strong as a rex, but small enough to get through the narrow corridors.

In the temple for Devourer + Brute how are you able to fly in? I tried on an argy and an pteradon and it flings me off at random spots and I am then unable to even get back on my flyer. Even on the ground. I eventually can get back on but it's terrifying not knowing which bit is safe and which isn't lol. Soon as I entered I got flung off, landed right into the water with all the eels. No idea how but I got out and survived lol

20:20 i dont think thats the way out. Friend of mine said he got dismounted at the entrance already and we went in with deinos. Behind the purple Artifact at the bottom is a small swimming section that will make u take suffocation damage probably, electrical eel spawns there aswell so depending on the amount it could get really tricky.

@@allarian8726 On one hand, he could do it the hard way, like he did for most of Ark maps: boisterously head down there armoured and armed to the teeth bashing slashing, wimping a little (ruuuuun Meshell/M1sbah RUUUuuunnn!)) and distractfully fight his way through layers of bats and snakes and whatnots for hours and hours to, in the end, mildly educate but boi-oh-boi can he entertain :D Oooorrrrrr he can ghost mode his wat through and just show the main goal: where they are and how to get to them; sorrily a GPS isn't allowed in ghost mode :( but if you have constructive suggestions, they're always appreciated. So, I flew into the Wyvern cave nearest the artifact location, and the artifact was not there. Decided to continue on to the other end of the cave (got a 300 Fire Wyvern egg for my trouble). Went back to shortcut cave and voilà! Artifact had spawned, along with a host of hostiles that weren't there on that path down on my first pass through. Makes me think you have to take the long way around first if you've never been in this cave. Or something like that.
