The NJIT players received a standing ovation as they were walking thru the Hog Pen, also getting plenty of love in Fayetteville when they went out to eat two nights in a row, and I heard that they were even heckling Mojo. So refreshing to see all those people in the crowd!

Each to his own, but this is why I’ve always preferred college sports over professional. The passion and atmosphere is just different.

I gotta say I’ve been in a mode lately of watching whatever college baseball game is on and it never disappoints. Idk what they do to make it so entertaining but they better not change a damn thing

Love college baseball.... So sad my gators struggled during regionals.... Arkansas is who I have winning tho. Hard to beat a team with a closer as good as Kopps
@MaryEllenBrown3 жыл бұрын
Kevin Kopps is not a closer. He pitched 7 innings in this game. That’s about as far from a closer as you can get without starting.

@@MaryEllenBrown they call him a closer, but dude is just a monster! His cutter/slider is insane. Makes guys look like they’ve never swung a bat before 😂

I was at this series and it was one of the best sporting moments I’ve ever seen. The Nebraska left fielder, Mojo, turned around and flipped off the hog pen while they were playing NJIT.... the entire stadium let him have it the rest of the series. Pure awesomeness.

I love how you act like it was completely unprovoked. Not only has Hagge denied doing this (but he could be lying), he was reportedly being heckled by fans who were using the names of his family members and girlfriend. Super uncalled for. No rational person would turn around and flip off the the crowd for no reason. He was a fifth year senior, and this was the first time he ever allegedly did this. So either it didn't happen, or the fans went too far and provoked him to do it.

@@TechnicElectric Buddy I was there. I saw it happen live. The entire arkansas fanbase was cheering for NJIT during their game against Nebraska. I don’t know if you saw the story but Fayetteville basically adopted them this past weekend. Fayetteville is a very friendly atmosphere and if you ask anyone on that NJIT team they’d agree. They were making fun of his height. He’s literally 5’3 in heels. That’s freaking baseball though you’re gonna get that in the outfield. He turned around flicked off the crowd and from that point it became personal. People did start looking into him for ammo. I can @ you in the Twitter feed. I agree unnecessary but he stoked the flames. But any hecklers that were caught doing it were immediately tossed out of the game. He mostly just got a bunch of “mojo sucks” and boos during the games. Don’t be so soft

As a hogs fan and alumni beer hats are worn when bases are loaded. Since the runner came home on a wild pitch the bases were no longer loaded so that's why she snatched the hat off her head.. idk it's been a thing as long as I lived in Arkansas. And I remember more than 10 yrs ago baseball not having this kind of audience so it was amazing to see the fans and crowds. Ppl drove from hundreds of miles away to watch.. I drove from Florida as that's where I live now.. razorback fans are pretty amazing...woo pig sooie
