There is NO gun show loophole. Congress in 1968 allowed private sales. Now if you sell even ONE gun under this you are a DEALER. That gun you bought 20 yrs ago and has gone up in value and you have the original box. They make it clear when they say even for online sales. We already have to send an online sold firearm to an FFL dealer for the background check. There was not/is not a gun show loophole. Since 1968's GCA gun dealers have to do the same tracking form 4473 regardless of where they are -- their store, a truck, a tent, gun show, etc. Since the 1993 Brady Act gun dealers have to do a background check and it does not matter what location they are at.

I’ve never seen an under the table transaction at a gun show nor a sale that the buyer didn’t do paperwork so the FFL dealer could call the feds for the ok to complete the transaction. 1: FFL dealers is required for all sales of a firearm the potential buyer to show ID and fill out a form, the dealer then makes the call. Only those who never been to a gun show or gun store can be easily miss-lead by the media and politicians who want to impose new laws/restrictions. New laws, regulations, restrictions etc. only affect the law abiding citizens, it doesn’t apply to those who possess firearms illegally, for those with mental health issues. The 300+ you mentioned, how many of those incidences were committed by individuals with mental health issues or was stolen firearms and or firearms? They should not even possess to begin with.. like a felon. Loopholes, how about a felon who can’t own a firearm and yet purchase a hunting license, barrow a firearm from a friend or relative to go hunting.

Our government is so corrupt, what do you do? Do you even listen to crimials that wants to take your given right, or just ignore them? I think the ignore them is the better one. You try to do what is right, but when right and wrong don't matter anymore, what then?
