This car was passing. Nobody went around him. Trooper is full of it. They have some type of phone message reading system or something. These stops are too good just to be by chance. This guy was doing noting wrong. If anything the car behind him was following too close.

Totally agree. Also, the canine officer said it would be 30 minutes.for him to get there. The video skips forward so that you can't tell how long it was. This stop would be thrown out for that reason.

I said right off when dog stopped at rear wheel they were gonna call it an alert. Went around car and dog paused again at same spot. Just did not sit like most do. Sure enough, that’s exactly where he said dog alerted. Of course as soon as they said they were coming from Dallas, had no rental paperwork and going to NC in a car with FL tag, it was obvious they were running drugs.

That dog never hit on anything. The cop walked around prior to the k9 and didn't see anything up front so they "claim" the k9 hit on the trunk just to have reason to search because they knew right away they were transporting drugs due to the car being a rental and the non consent to search.

As a person who’s rented a lot of rentals & been pulled over often, they always ask for the rental agreement & that’s what exposes people. If they see you picked the car up in a state you don’t live in, to drive to another, that tells them you flew in to drive back, and only a mile would do that. It’s not the rental itself that’s suspicious, it’s the pick up & drop off locations.

Here’s the sad part this is one load out of about 20 that went through that interstate that day, it’s ridiculous. And it’s not a surprise that’s it’s always a rented car because they fight it in court and the way the defense plays it they can’t actually prove without a doubt that it “wasn’t already in there” . So this scam is worth it to them they make they get ten grand they don’t and they get a year or possibly less. It’s a fucking joke. And they know the game so that’s why they continue to do it this way. That was really close to a twenty minute traffic stop before the K9 arrived. Here in Oklahoma, we cannot extend a traffic stop longer than 20 minutes without cause and refusal of a search is not cause.

After watching this, a few things really stood out… #1. This reason for the stop is very suspicious… “driving in the left lane”? The officer really didn’t follow him very long, and while quite aggravating, I don’t think it is illegal. #2. The officer had absolutely no probable cause to have them leave the car, ask for a search, or request a dog. #3. The K9 officer said on the radio that it would take him 30 minutes to get there and without probable cause the officer CAN NOT extend the stop. While I very happy the drugs were found and seized, I believe the driver’s right were blatantly violated due to his ignorance and this should be easily defended in court.
