A beautiful & well-presented concert by vidhushi sriranjani santanagopalan.With her sweet-toned voice, she showcased her vidwat with a select choice of kritis. Commencing with a varnam in ritigowlai (vanajAksha), and following up with harikambhoji (Nen enduku vetukudurA), pantuvarAli (rAmanAtham bhajEham - a dikshitar kriti on rAmeswaram) bilahari (paridAnamichitE) keeravAni (punniyam oru kOti - a kriti by Sri Periaswamy tooran on kAnchi periyavA) a tillAnA in pahadi & a rAgamAlikA - hamsanAdam, DK & SB (bharatiyAr's song - thEdi unnai saranadaindEn). Vidwan vittal rangan's violin support was perfect. His pantuvarAli& keeravAni were just too good. The percussion support by Vidwan praveen kumar (mridangam) & Vidwan sunilkumar (ganjira) with their deft touches was subtle. Thanks to Madhuradwani for bringing this live 🙏
