At around 7 minutes walking out into that entrance I can’t believe how good the art design is in this world. It’s truly brilliant. This would be a great world for a movie and obviously definitely a video game.

I'm writing this comment at only 2:50 into the vid, and I had to pause it so I could scream "Hallelujah!" 🥳 Straight away I can see that Vitruvius have NAILED the VR interactivity once again. There's a good reason that we gamecats use the term "VRAF" ... and that reason is VITRUVIUS VR!! ❤ Right, now that I've calmed down a little, l'm gonna watch the rest of the video. I really hope that AJ doesn't say "buuuut ... here's what's wrong with it" in a minute ... [EDIT - Spoilers: He didn't! 😁]

Great video AJ. The only problem I had with the social screen video was that the image was too dark. Everything in the headset looks much brighter thanks to HDR. I have already finished it and I have 94% completion 😉

So happy this game is solid!! I just beat Behemoth today and awaiting the next major patch on Alien Rogue Incursion, so i may play Metro then hop into this when it releases. Great times for vr!!

That looks amazing. Shadow Legend is one of my favorite VR games because it was REALLY densely-packed with unique and great VR interaction concepts (I also don't think the combat was that bad: Swordsman VR was worse). It doesn't look like Arken Age is quite like that, but so far it looks like an absolutely gorgeous and fun experience.

I didn’t say it was bad, just one of the weaker parts of the game. Also, man, gotta disagree about swordsman, as it literally has a reputation of having some of the best physics based swordfighting. This game is definitely seems like bigger, better shadow legend though when it comes to systems and gameplay.

Thanks! I use the earbuds when streaming/recording and then I use pulse 3D on my own time. In this video, I have my pc headphones over the psvr2 earbuds, it’s my streaming setup to have a mic/hear the live chat.

Shooting the enemy of the edge into the water was so funny and I laughed my arse off. Especially as you sneaked up and did it from behind. Do you have access to the full game? And do you know if there is a variety of enemy? Or minimal like one of the most fun psvr2 games, the incredible Synapse?

Full review embargo lifts next week, but There’s decent enemy variety so far though. A lot of them look different and have different weapons. Levels are waaaay bigger too. Much more depth than Synapse.

@ do you know price? And do you know if we can possibly pre order to pre download ready for release ? If drops at midnight I will play then. Never do that for gaming because I’m not really a gamer and don’t get excited. I couldn’t care less is I never play gta6 But I love vr and Arken age looks fantastic and I can tell already that it’s a million times more fun then Behemoth. Behemoth is absolutely a buy at no more then half price. Of course it might be great but when I’m massively hyped which don’t happen often, and I see end results and am not interested at all, that’s a bad sign And all I get from Arken age is wow this looks great in every way. I can’t wait to try out all the cool guns, swords, etc and do a bit of swimming 😭
