I haven't played enough Alyx yet (chapter 2, waiting for PSVR2 adapter) but I can totally see this happening lol. I've played 10+ hours of HL2 with the VR mod and it's soooo good.

​​@@PSVRUNDERGROUNDHalf Life 2 is one of the greatest games ever, I'm not surprised that the VR Version is so good. I have money for a really good gaming PC, but I'm really afraid of the hassle. I stopped playing Psvr1 very early cause it was such a huge pain in the ass to start a game. I would even buy a 4090 if it was just as easy as on console. I like your content, humour and enthusiasm. You even have fans in Austria, at least I know of one: me 😂

If you want to save, wait the release of the 5090 and buy a second hand 4090 as soon it releases

@@cparoli1111 Too sketchy in my opinion, there are fake 4090s out there and I just would not trust any used pc components.

I’d maybe be interested in trying just for something new with elder scrolls VR. I’d maybe try out some Skyrim mods first.

Hello! I only need to use 60 FPS for games that can't hold a steady framerate on my PC, like Returnal. For me, it looks and runs great at 60 FPS, you need that speed to play it. Other games I can run anywhere from 72-120, maybe even more, it really just depends on the game. I usually try and leave some headroom and set it slightly under what my pc can handle. As far as motion sickness goes, people can experience this at any framerate because they do not have their VR legs, so it's pretty subjective I would say. It kind of just depends on the game but having a smoother experience will definitely help. It is very hard for me to get motion sickness, VERY hard, but I haven't even experienced a little discomfort from what I've played so far (When the settings are correct)

@@PSVRUNDERGROUND Metro is about to make VR history, i wasnt expecting the monsters to look like that, after the trailer they shown of the thing jumping at you that looked more like something from an N64 game

It felt weird saying no to GT7, Resident Evil, and Horizon, and saying yes to FNAF 😂 but it was mainly because the versions of those games were the wrong versions to get. Except maybe Horizon. Not a bad deal but It feels more like a 30 game for the sweet spot. FNAF rocks and you are right I messed up lol.

Yeah man 2024 is gonna be so back-ended it's ridiculous. Despite the heat I would have absolutely released one of the big hitters right now just because it's gonna be crazy crammed later. Glad you're enjoying PTTR so far! Definitely try the superhot mode while you're there, and all the game modes, it has a lot of cool fun stuff!

That's what I'm hoping for, but definitely approaching with caution just in case there's some issues. I've had different drastically experiences using the same headset wired vs wireless, controllers etc. But I'll be there day 1 testing everything.

@@PSVRUNDERGROUND No you're right, we're talking about Sony here 😅 Who knows maybe it turns out that we're only able to use it on PC in cinema mode, can you imagine? 😂 Jokes aside, there might be some issues with the controllers and UEVR, I hadn't thought of that before as they're probably more different than the headset itself. Anyway keep up the great content, it's always fun to watch the stream, especially now that you're covering PCVR and mods too 😄

@@sandman7167 yeah you will need a gaming pc, I will have a setup video once I have the adapter so I know what works best at the best budget, but in the meantime I’ll try and post some recommendations soon. There’s definitely specific specs you want to target.

@@AndrewEhrenreich again be aware that some compatibility may not be there at launch, especially for Mods. They can be very finicky about what they can work with and how. It MAY require some additional steps or updates from modders first. There is also a chance that some drivers may be compatible, but no way in knowing til we get the adapter. I would think it needs to be programmed first, unless by some miracle there is something that can connect the functionality.

I have a rough game plan in place and once I get the adapter will kind of go from there. Still have some unanswered questions as to what it will look like day 1 (settings/config/options)

My main gripe with the flat version was that I was just kind of getting bored with them. VR makes them fun and magical again for me heh. I don’t know if it would help you with that, but it does look amazing in 3D.

Unfortunately I will never play this game unless VR mode is announced.

For games like Returnal,FFVII, and Robocop, that is the baseline I start with yes. That is also what is shown in the footage here.

@@PSVRUNDERGROUND ok, my hope was that you can run it with 60fps native without reprojection. My graphic card is similar to yours, maybe al little more faster. I have a RTX 3070 Ti. I am looking forward to the adapter for my PSVR2. Keep up the good content! 😊

I’ve played a lot of games like it that I didn’t enjoy, but Pacific Drive has a nice balance of quality, creativity, and Narrative so far to keep me interested. I’m also into sci-fi so I like that side of it too. Good so far!
