Reduce saturation by 30-40% and it will be perfect. Another way to do the rgbsplit0r effect is with RGBA shift.

I would split this into two steps - first make VHS look out of recording and render it. Then put it into screen. Also - I was able to input video to screen physically, I would do second step physically.
