Love lovecraft read alot of his stories and started playing some themed board games, Which would you recommend to buying between arkham horror or Eldritch horror? both had alot of expansions or neither and go mansions of madness. Not fussed about difficulty and whichever gives more flavor, lore and fun.

Mansions requires a tablet or big screen so make sure you have that covered. Definitely check out a variety of opinions on KZbin. If you can make it to ARKHAM NIGHTS in Minnesota in October you can them all out for free!

Eldritch Horror all the way

I own all of them, eldritch with every expansion, Mom with Streets of Arkham and BTT and 3rd edition with no expansion. Unpopular opinion, but my group always goes back to Eldritch Horror, with MoM as a close second. We like the app and the narrative, but Eldritch feels more epic and they much prefer that one.

L5R LCG ? Imperial Chronicle was the channel that got me into the game. Why did you stop doing videos for that game ?

Because none of us play the game anymore. FFG took it in a direction that didn’t suit us. We do still add RPG content to the channel and if new games arrive then we will definitely be interested in those.

I've been looking around at reviews of this 3rd edition and most people seem to think its quite so-so. But they seem to have liked the 2nd ed a lot. Now I wasn't a fan of the 2nd ed, I always felt like it was a slog. The setup took forever, the board didn't look that interesting and a lot of info written on tiny tokens made them feel less interesting for some odd reason. Would this 3rd edition suit me better?

Those of us who thought 2nd edition was old and bloated definitely enjoyed 3rd edition much more. The 2nd ed lovers really don't care for it :)

They have made such a big mistake in not continuing to support AH 2nd edition. The LCG is a better game than this 3rd edition, in a big way. Why why why they don’t make the plastic characters any more???? Why?

@@ArkhamChronicle For theme its 1 or 2 on when you look. They are promoting the new 3rd edition. They have the minis for MoM..... It has nothing to do with cost, there is demand.

I had asked support for the probability of a collector edition for 2nd ed but was met by a canned response, I don't think I can ever complete the set now and it's frustrating as hell

@@kp9911 I can totally understand and it’s so narrow minded and for me negligent to those like you and I that know 2nd ed is just a much better game. They could easily can 3rd edition as the LCG is just better than the board game. And the lite version wow wow it’s terrible.

@@stevegeorge7773 honestly after playing base game campaign twice and dunwich campaign, I have to say, that in terms of deckbuilding, I saw everything and exhausted my options of upgrading deck after halfway through. I would have to buy new cycle to keep it fresh and it costs around 120$ for couple scenarios and some cards for decks. I would rather play board game like AH 3rd ed. for one-shot scenario changing my investigator each time, trying different things.
