Agreed, this is what I wish most people would understand. Expecting this anime to be full action is just misleading, and making them have wrong expectations for the anime, such as bad animation, etc. I mean I've already seen one review on MAL saying that this anime's animation is "barely even existent", and it sucks to know it's the highest rated review there. Ffs, it's not Fate Grand Order. Arknights' fights were never that flashy to begin with, except maybe the boss fights in the later chapters of the story (definitely not gonna be animated any time soon let alone part of this 8 episodes). It sucks since that kind of review makes people who never played the game to think that the anime was bad when in fact it was good enough in staying true to the story. Obviously, anime like Chainsawman and Bleach are still the best ones this season, but it's just sad to think that there's the possibility that some people could be misled to have the wrong expectations for this anime.

Imagine having crystals growing out of your flesh and slowly killing you from the inside. Yes, all the infected people are going to die, at some point.

This is honestly the only ever mobile game to have stayed installed on my phone for more than 6 months. Not even Genshin lasted that long. I've been listening to this on loop for days since it's release and full version. The visuals makes the song sound even better (not that it isn't good, it compliments the visuals making me tear up a bit). As one of many Doctors, seeing things that were in text that took hours to finish reading being animated and made Alive (pun intended) makes me really happy. Thank you leviathans, whales, dolphins, and even f2ps for making this happen, I hope that the game will live long enough for me to whale too 😄

Watch it if you like big character development anime with fantastic geopolitical, world building and despair along the way. Arknights isnt action packed anime (there will be in later episode) but the strong point of Arknights is their character and the world itself
