Tbf, with over 100 ASPD, 3 targets and increased range, it's not like it's not being indirectly affected. Not to mention the near perfect combo with Suzu anyways.

@@voltrixgames4375 There is more sources for bind or slow than just her. It's not necessary to rely just on her bind, it's a neat addition so she could proc arts dmg herself at least. Operator doesn't need to do everything they can perfectly. Thorns has arts dmg and it's garbage compared to his phys, there it's at least a nice addition to her kit

granted that we don't get a crazy limited banner along the way, i'll probably pull for her. the sp is definitely going to be an issue, but she looks like the type of operator i really like playing. plus we don't have lord modules yet. cope much? maybe but i am a guards enjoyer big time

I already gushed enough how much I like this character but now for a real talk. Like others mentioned her SP game is concerning. Guess I can put her alongside my SP batteries but time will tell whether it's worth it. She's like what, 7 months away from global? Looking at the bonkers banners along the way it might not be super worth it to go for her, especially that I will most likely have Texas Alter and Młynar as new mainstays in my squads. I guess the question is: what will the new limited banner be? Oi, just imagine if they drop a bombshell on us and reveal that Talulah or ZombieNova are gonna become our new operators... By the way, anyone seen Dorothy? I think we lost her somewhere? Poor girl can't find her way home.

Her DPS seems to be on par with Thorns, the SP cost is concerning though.

At M3 her s3 dps is slightly below Surtr against medium res enemies and above vs low res. It’s a burst skill closer to things like Mlynar and SA but with arts damage and light crowd control. This video is at sl7 and she has some of the most extreme mastery gains with almost double the damage at m3 vs sl7.

For whatever reason hg is overly cautious with arts dmg balancing compared to physical (ie Sniper’s vs Caster’s). Would have been nice to see it in the 40sp range like Mlynar.

@@caster269 but it gets 45 on drop so you can use her like SA. Not sure why everyone compares her to thorns all the time. They aren't really used in the same way. I think her s2 is probably more useful for sustained map placement and 3 for quick burst. Honestly would be cool to have her and SA is a team. I think it would be cool. Saving for flamebringer alter (max cope) tho.

She's pretty good on skill, but my god, the sp 55sp for a 30s duration skill, at 2023, what the hell, when they literally gave a fast redeploy surtr damage for 20s, but refuse to give Qiu Bai 40 or 45sp, it baffles me how HG could come up with this, she even has worse downtime than Vulcan.

Probably because it lines up almost perfectly with Suzuran, helping amplify damage and also keep the first talent triggering 100% of the time.

@@slonik0002 while that seems to be the case, judging one operator solely on their synergy with another op is missing a crucial part in using them, that most of the time, you're gonna use her by herself, what if someone doesn't have Suzu? How does she fare by herself? I was expecting her skill to be a more burst consistently through multiple waves of enemies, and with that sp, she could only activate the skill twice in a stage, minus some really long stages.

@@qgvinh8614 Tbf, a lot of recent CN ops have been designed with synergy in mind, where by themselves they’re worse than earlier ops, but with combos they’re better to varying degrees - Ebenholz, Stainless, Chongyue, Reed2, Vigil(?), and even Gav2 + Mlynar, not that they’re bad on their own. Besides, there are tons of other bind/slow options to substitute, better than Chongyue and Skalter which requires 2 limited for example. I do admit that her SP cost is certainly quite high on her own though, but she can hold her weight against elites with M3 as shown in the preview stage.

Saria S3 isn't slow, it's movement speed reduction so Qiubai talent won't be affected

@@dayaaa If you want debuff, better use Suzu here. Slow from s3 will give Qiubai constant additional arts damage on hit + 40% weakening.

So she has a high SP cost skill thanks to the crowd control tax. I like her character design, but her kit seems to be as ineffective as it is bland. Likely a skip unless I'll be swimming in pulls for some reason

The bind comes first then the hit. So there will be a 20% chance to bind + guaranteed hit since it is bound, then a 20% chance to hit if the predator was not bound.

@@georgezhang1573 I think Suzuran is the only exception, she needs to attack for the slow to be applied, it won't slow before the attack lands. So basically she won't benefit from her own basic attacks and Fragile.
