The fact that She deals mix damage is quite nice. Also i love that people talk about how 10% natural DP regen is bad and her self heal is quite useful when they didnt even realize that both of them are on the same talent and her art damage is the other talent.

Powercreep is mostly for P2W gameplay, as far as I'm concerned. Arknights is good about letting more characters be viable in their own way, including older ones.

one thing i'm seeing is people mentioning that the 10% dp increase wouldn't work in CC due to it being percent based, but the debuffs to dp regen are also percent based meaning they shouldn't change the base value, so shouldn't the actual increase remain the same? i guess it wouldn't matter too much since 10% is still pretty small and she has to be on field for it to work anyways where she would already be printing dp, though it and the hp regen are nice bonuses

Unless they totally fuck it up her second module will be great. Improving the natural dp gen by 15% or 20% would be good, or improving it by an amount unrelated to current gen so she thrives in low dp gen settings. Also -4 dp on first deploy is simply the better trait.

as a pioneer vanguard user, people rate suzumom too highly for my liking. all they ever talk about is the near-myrtle tier DP gen with the dps kinda similar to mid guards like qiubai. this is all true, in theory. in practice, if you have to bring a pioneer vanguard alone without any other vanguard to support it (since pioneer vanguards are made to save squad space by mixing dps and dp gen together), you have to DECIDE whether you use the skill either for dp gen or for clearing trash. this makes pioneers way more inconsistent than agents and flagbearers in which they have skills that generate dp per attack on-skill or have their main purpose ONLY for dp gen. don't get me wrong, suzumom's definitely the best pioneer vanguard we have, it's just that she's a pioneer vanguard which is basically a powercrept class because of agents. TLDR: don't go diving in numbers without actually knowing how you use pioneer vanguards...
