To translate Sciel's instructions: Before you reach the ability to ask 6x a day... 1. Set Food buying strategy to Radical 2. Set Drink buying strategy to Radical 3. Set Souvenir buying strategy to Radical 4. Use 2x Ask Around chances on checking Food prices, and sell for 1 less than the competitor. 5. Use 2x Ask Around chances on checking Drink prices, and sell for 1 less than the competitor. 6. Pick the highest price option for Souvenirs (drag slider to the farthest right). Once you reach the ability to Ask Around 6x a day, you can: - Replace step 3 to 1x Ask Around and choose the same buying Strategy - Replace step 6 with 1x Ask Around and sell for 10 less than the competitor. Clarification for those new to the event: Ask Around reveals the competitor's customer count the first time, and selling price the second time. That's why you need to use Ask Around twice to get the price. Edit: Fixed 'selling' to 'buying' under the 6 steps. Fixed the steps for after getting 'Ask Around 6x a day'

From what I understand is: basically you and two other shops are selling drinks/food/gifts, if you ask around you then know the price at which those other two sell things. If you put it -1 their price, people are going to buy more of your stuff( because it's "cheaper"), so you get more profit than them

Selling above would make you have fewer customers, and at the same amount would result having an equal split number of customers. For example for Drinks (at 0:29): There are 540 customers. The one selling at the highest cost ($253) have 120 customers (2/9 of 540), the one at the middle ($248) have 180 customers (3/9 of 540), while the lowest cost ($247) have 240 customers (4/9 of 540). 120 x $253 = $30,360 180 x $248 = $44,640 240 x $247 = $59,280 If you are forced to put it at the same cost as lowest seller, the split would look like this: 108 x $253 = $27,324 216 x $248 = $53,568 216 x $248 = $53,568 Which make the one selling for $253 having only 1/5 of the 540 customer, while the other two having 2/5 of the 540 customer.

@@DRGR0000 스와이어 때문에 장사한거는 맞는데 이 사실을 모르는 상태의 주변상권은 볼품 없는 한 가게가 신장개업때 부터 *지속적으로* 많이 벌고 있다는건 주변 상권 입장에선 ㄹㅇ 힘들다못해 뭔가 있나 싶을 정도로 수상한게 맞긴 함다. (그나마 몇번 많이 팔았다고 해도 누적인 이상, 가게 상태에 따라 흑자보다는 적자가 많을테니 지출이 더 눈이 들어올 수 밖에 없슴다.) 진지 안빨고 왠 모 도시의 경찰청 국장이 영업하라고 시키길래 제약회사 책임자급 인물을 데려왔다가 계속 대박을 치고 있어도, 주변 상권 입장에선 흑자도 아니고 적자가 거의 1.5 배 이상으로 늘어나는 수준이니 당사자가 직접 해명하지 않는한 의심하고도 남을 수 밖에 없긴하죠.

@@tjay1305 I'm pretty sure that's not how these kinds of business dynamics work at all, but more to the point it's hard to see how merely having a new store pushing down the prices is supposed to help the actual underlying problems of a declining shopping venue in any shape or form. Also isn't Snowsant's operation at least partially subsidised by the Schwire conglomerate or something? If so that doesn't make for a very healthy competition in the first place. ...the whole concept kind of smells of Art Major Economics and not really putting very much thought into the Excuse Plot of the side event.

That would be consider as below average. Although my math isn’t exact, as long as you get at least ~25k coupon each day (assuming the shop also last 21 days), you should be able to obtain all of the rewards available. Any more than 25k a day will let you get everything earlier. 620,000 is needed for everything and you start with 100,000. Therefore you need to get 520,000 by the end of the event. In short, while 24k is not good. You should be able to quickly recover as long as you don’t have more days like this.

I take it back, after finding out that the prices of the new products drastically increase as the event goes on, a player should be able to make more money. So getting everything should be easier. Still ~25k is the least you need daily.

@@marsimarsi7532 In short, prioritize the product with the most customers and undercut the lowest seller so you take 4/9 or 44% of the total customers while selling near the lowest seller’s price. (The other two sellers will have 33% and 22% of the total customers) If you can’t undercut the lowest seller, then you and the lowest seller will both have 40% of the total customer. Edit: In some rare situations were you can’t undercut the lower seller, you can also increase the cost of your product just a bit so that you make more profit than the lowest seller when it’s still being 40/40/20. Too high and it goes back to 44/33/22 with you having the 33%.
