Knife upgrades - poison (tier 2) so it kills them no matter where you hit them and then corrode (tier 3) so it gets rid of the body immediately. Helps kill them and get rid of the body so you can stay hidden and no one goes looking for you. Even if a guard is patrolling and you kill another guard, you can hit one and if it goes into corrode and the guard sees, they usually get a little confused but move on usually. It’s the most useful for me personally. I can usually clear a whole area quickly. Especially with the knife recovery skill.

I was fighting the game and wondering if I had wasted my money before I turned it on. You need the Tokens to open chests and bribe people, esp on main quests, and the best way to get them is pickpocketing them. I kept trying to pickpocket and failed 90% of the time. Don't know why they thought they had to make it so hard.@@Reelglad

I went and found the Hidden ones Dagger and Sword, with upgrades.. took some time. Also upgraded the throwing knives for poison and dissolve bodies. with the blow darts it makes for a lethal poison based build

@@zicuvalentin2251 depends on the difficulty level you play, how often you level up your armor/weapons, the build/playstyle you opt for, etc. The RPG stuff can be too convoluted for some folks (compared to the older AC games), but I like it.

Another tip: best way to use focus is to use it as a teleportation method for fast mobility and use it to plan where ur going after useing the focus ability to not get in hard situations.

Is collecting items from baskets considered an illegal action? It doesn’t have the red mark next to it like looting chests or pickpocketing, but the handful of times I’ve done it near guards has resulted in being chased by them.

I switched dodge onto circle and crouch/dropdown onto square just feels more natural to me to tap the circle for dodge rolling the same as other AC titles the 1st hour the amount of times I hit circle to dodge only to drop down into a crouch and get smashed by enemies was getting right on my pickle

I prefer performance. I pretty much always play games on performance mode with motion blur turned off. Motion in 30FPS resolution modes always looks blurry to me, which I find distracting. But if you like the look of resolution mode there’s no reason you can’t play that way!

so i bought the jinn set buw how does it work? it makes afflictions last longer etc but how do u poison enemies to make that set work? for some reason there is no information about how to apply afflictions

afflictions are basically any effect you put on enemies like poison or burning, some upgrades to your smoke bombs can give it a poison or even sleep effect which is an affliction or some of the weapons in the game have a poison or burn effect, there are other ways as well so just check out the upgrade tree and all that

Throwing knives the thing the game doesn’t give you: at greater distances you can also get a headshot by aiming above your target at a spot where the damage in their health bar fills up

I preferred Odyssey and Valhalla over Mirage, I just found Mirage too easy, didn't even need to upgrade my weapon, I also wished the enemy AI was a bit better

Looking at the skill tree it looks like a massive downgrade from the last AC. Just got Mirage (subbed to uplay+ yesterday) and so far have not even unlocked the full map, but that skill tree rather worries me. Have they dumbed down the RPG elements?

I'm a new player having a little difficulty. I've been playing Origins which is way different, and in my opinion better. I'm trying to tuff it out since I spent real money buying this which I normally don't do. I did the prison encounter, and it took me a while. I took my time, killing all the guards, and dying a lot too. You did clear up a few things I was scratching my head over. I'm definitely subscribing.

I loved watching your Horizon guides and let's plays and appreciate this Mirage tips video but do you know if there's a bug on PS5 why the game won't let me into any of the bureau shops in the hideout locations. It happens quite frequently where there's no interact to open the door. I just took out the first Order Target and want to get my tools upgraded but I can't open the door to the shop or contacts board.

Thanks! I haven’t run into that bug myself. Are you perhaps trying to go to the hideouts too early? Some of them need to be unlocked through story progression. I would try going back to the first one. Hope that helps!

NAh easy way to,get the 10 shards from those guys is hide on rooftop and use a throwing knife to,asssassinate them,and if you have auto loot unlocked in perk as you get the drop wen you kill them
