You can reduce the wither damage significantly by using dampen magic (works for initial hit and for every tick). Also, with about 370 spellpower you are able to just burst the final boss down to 50% no problem without caring about wither dmg / mana drain at all. If you don't have mana regen talents, you can use Ani-Venom from Small Venom Sacs to remove it.

gnomes can actually jump on the pillar, the one you use to los, next to the rock and ledge. You have to run off the point of the rock and theres an invisible ledge, you have to time it right but you will still need a lesser invis pot. The imps and lashers share an aggro radius and if you pull the imps you will pull lashers even if they're 100 yards away.

It's not really issue to juggle the boss back and forth, but I can't get a hang of the leeway so he doesn't sacrifice me behind the pillar. Nice video btw. Looks like promissing solo gold farm ;)

Take the last boss slowly, specially if u new to this. I would beginners actually recommend to just Fire Blast. Try to learn the pathing of the boss first until u Firebolt & Scorch him. Small nature resistance potions and small anti venom helping aswell, they are not expensive at all.

log your alt right outside the instance run your main through and log your main out while inside instance then hop on alt and run in same instance 100% of the time

You can use Jungle Remedy to get rid of both debuffs from the last boss. Easily farmed off of level 32-37 mobs in STV. classicdb.ch/?item=2633

if you want to be fire and dont parse and more casual player (ie. alt that raid mc/zg, 5 mans and farm) consider 30/21 fire/frost spec. Everything normal in fire spec except combustion and normal pve frost talents up to iceblock. Combustion is a loss but the survivability is great.

On my server its way more gold per hour with herb in this run and literally just jumping down and getting the herbs and resetting. Arcane crystals are only 35g now - one per hour is awful gold per hour and its fairly difficult. Plus you missed the big gold per hour item here, which is the chest to the left of hydrospawn. If you grab that it adds an average of 6g per reset (because some expensive items can come from it). The chest is so important that if it isn't in the hydrospawn room ill go right from hydrospawn's room and grab it in the other room near leth then reset. average 20 gromsblood / 20 dreamfoil per hour - 60g from herbs alone. Then 3-5 chests an hour, +25. Then whatever you get from blasting hydrospawn or lashers / satyrs is probably another 15g. 100g an hour min and no killing zev

Nature protection pots and small venom sac anti venom are really good to have in your bag for the final boss especially when one is learning. I always pop a nature pot as soon as the second boss dies so that the two min CD is up before I start the final boss.

That reset spot by the broken wall after the boss hits 50% doesn't work for me. He's evading but he just stands there casting ennervate and mangle. Maybe because I'm undead? I've tried sitting down, doesn't work either

For anyone interested, it seems that if the boss is right next to you when you get on the ledge he doesn't like to reset. I found that if i jump on when he isn't in LoS he resets quickly.

Where is the gold coming from in this strat? Satyr's bow is 20% drop so 30-40g per hour if you have a buyer and if you're only doing the bow on repeat. That run was 17 minutes, you'd be down to 3 runs an hour if you were picking herbs and running an alt through to mine. I'm really excited for a good fire farm, i'm just not convinced this is it

as someone that was doing this a while ago, its not worth the gold anymore. youd waste a LOT of time getting a customer for satyrs bow and the run takes too long for arcane crystals to be worth it. Im also looking for a viable farm you can do in raid fire spec, but this isnt it.

People meme on mage farming that gold just falls from the sky when you walk in an instance, but most of them are actually pretty tricky. Some people can succeed right away, but most people I know have spent HOURS figuring out a farm before they can start to make money with it. Be persistent, and don't get down on yourself about it.

I was explaining everything as I went haha. When I finished the final boss I believe it was 12 minutes 30 seconds inclusive of explaining things. With zanza pot it can likely be done even faster than 12 minutes consistently.

It's all rng after all. I've farmed 120+ crystals in dme and it's all down to luck. One day I had a streak of 27 id's without a crystal but I've also had a single node with 2 crystals. If you hit lockout I'd say you get a crystal every 1.5 hours or so.
