Genshin Impact OST never dissapoints.
It's been a while since I did a boss battle theme, reacting to all the phases of Arlecchino's theme was something I was needing, will I ever play this game and get to that part of the story? who knows... in the meantime I'll keep listening it's soundtrack.

This maybe my favorite of the latest Genshin's Boss themes, which is yours? 🔥 Btw little correction, at 4:37 those were quarter note triplets (with rests in the first and last one), no dotted quarter notes 🤧

if u think the ending doesnt feel like an actual ending to the boss theme, u are right, the fight ended abruptly because we werent strong enough, there is supposed to be a third phase we couldnt see yet which shows pretty well in the song i think

All Genshin boss themes end abruptly. None of them sound good on loop. They sound good by themselves but don’t loop themselves….besides Warden of the Oasis

I love how you said the piano makes you feel outside of reality when one of Arlecchino's character is cloded in mystery and one of her features is that she jas the power to erase reality using her shadows.

The similarity with other boss battle theme is Fatui leitmotif, you can find it in Wrath of Monoceros Caeli, Saltatio Favilae & Polumnia Omnia.

Funny thing is Arlecchino is ironically the nicest of the harbingers so far, no matter what other harbingers say about her, and mainly because she lets them to create more discourse and confusion to her true nature, that is unless you directly oppose her or do something to harm her children or obstruct her agenda. If thats the case, pray you have had prior dealings that made you a friend or even an asset. Depending on the severity, a swift death might be welcome if you give her reason to come for you. Otherwise shes also the best on screen parental figure in the game and thats saying a lot.
