We don't know everything about the Traveler (when the Traveler 1st woke up, how the world looked when they woke up, why they were in a rush to leave, etc). And i believe Traveler didn't know about Kayea being from Khaenri'ah (unlike us, we knew). They only figured it out when Dainsleif and Kaeya talked about it. Traveler also doesn't know all the Harbinger's names, only we know (because of the Trailer, of course). Players and the Traveler have different knowledge.

For clarification, Irminsul doesn’t actually change history, simply people’s memories of what happened. It’s explained by Nicole at the end of the 3.3 interlude quest that it doesn’t actually tamper with history, and that only few have the capability to do so (an example being Istaroth in Ei’s second story quest.) So Scara being there does make sense. As for why he was chosen over any other harbinger, I’m guessing it’s because they wanted to show his winter coat, since we had never seen it. Alternatively though…Dottore has at least some level of an ability to circumvent Irminsul, as he proclaims that the knowledge he shares with Nahida is hidden by it. I’ve also always found it weird how the No. 6 seat is just…empty after Scara’s erasure, because you’d kind of assume that if no one remembered him, people would just call them “The Ten Fatui Harbingers” and Sandrone would be treated as if she was always No. 6, Signora as if she was always No. 7, so on and so forth. So…I do have to wonder if maybe the harbingers (at least the higher ranking ones since Childe doesn’t seem to remember him) do actually remember Scara through some method of Irminsul circumvention, but only time will tell.

It wasn't her memory. However, if it was the case then it still would be factual. How irminsul works is when erasing a presence from the world, it would be the name. That's it. The figure and what they look like would be remembered (to an extent depending on how long ago). For further proof of this, after Scara erased himself from Irminsul, we were to go back to Inazuma for a short side quest. It was here where they remembered a figure. But not a name.

but the thing is that, when he deleted himself from irminsul, he altered every single person from teyvat's memories, meaning that if someone were to reflect on their past after said deletion (as the animation is theorized to be arlecchinos life flashing before her eyes) and their past included scaramouche somehow, he wouldn't be there in their perspective, same with rukkhadevata, people from sumeru now think nahida was always their archon so their memories were altered to make them believe history went down in a different way (ex. instead of knowing that nahida was locked up by the akademiya due to being deemed useless as rukkhadevata's reincarnation?? i think??, they now think she was locked up because she used all her power in the cataclysm i think i dont remember exactly and was now weak)

Other details that I found kinda odd was how she was referred to as "cursed" by the previous harbinger and by the tsaritsa. Which the curse yes, you can somewhat connect to the darkening of her hands and arms but unless some other source I haven't read yet, it doesn't tell us how she became "cursed" or if she was simply born with it. The other thing I noticed is that she seems to have the innate ability to control pyro, as i never noticed a vision or delusion on her. And rather than controlling pyro as well, she can create it, and like we saw in the short, she obliterated that building with her abilities. It's very highly likely that I've missed a few things since I don't read lore, but I am even more interested in arlecchino than I was before.
