ARLEN NESS BIG BRAKE KIT. M8 SOFTAIL !!

Welcome to the SailorMotoTV KZbin Channel. In this video we finally freshen up the front end brakes on "Achilles" our 2019 Harley Davidson FXBB Street Bob. We replace the front factory rotor to a Arlen Ness Big Brake Kit with a 15 inch floating rotor, the caliper bracket from Arlen Ness & replacing the old factory brake pads for EBC Sintered brake pads. The difference is night and day!

Do you also hear a 'cricket' or buzzing sound with this rotor? Mine does it and I want to know if that's normal.

Man, I do hear a bit of smooth buzzing but I figured it was from the new sintered brake pads and rotor being new, I remember the same sound coming from the last R6 I had when I installed the new Galfer Sintered pads, but dissipated a lot over time… I’m assuming it would be the same here, not sure lol. How long have you had your rotor on for? Mine still very new lol

I'm 5'9 1/2 tall, what size wind screen do you have on the road warrior? a 13in or a 15? also do you have any buffeting on your head that makes your head shake?

@@shanemichael5356 I’m 5’11”… I tried the 11”, 13” & 15” windscreens! The one I got better results from was the 15” but once I blacked it out and lost the (see through the windscreen) capability, it felt just a lil sketchy 🤣, so I went to the 13” and that one was my best fit between its aero benefits & being blacked out. I did get noticeable helmet shakes at 80+ with the 11” 😬, but the 13” works just fine ⚡️
