Some Americans love to emphasise their immigrant ethnicities at every opportunity they get. Interestingly, I read a recent article by an Irish commentator that pointed out that many of these people left so long ago, that the culture they were told about & revere often doesn’t exist in the present day. I.e. the Ireland in Biden’s mind as an ‘Irish-American’, is unrepresentative of the place & it’s people now, but he still feels he has an ear to the ground.

I live and work along the border and what Bumbling Biden sadly like so many Americans do not get is that most of us whatever our background might be on this island get along just fine and his idea of what life in Ireland is like belongs like himself way back in the past. I was baptized Catholic and live south of the border and can tell you that Arlene would be a welcome and respected guest anytime.
