In Mary's younger days she was stunningly interesting looking.... her whole body became a music instrument when she was singing

Was I mis-hearing the host? She kept referring to Mary Travis instead of Travers. Mary politely never corrected her.

What year was this interview in NYC filmed?

This is an odd one for them to be involved with. It’s actually funny to me that this is one of the most honestly answered interview the two have ever given.

Interviewed Mary Travers, a cover story for `Stereo-Review` Went up to Nyack I think which is where she lived with her husband Gerry Taylor. I remember she said they did not like her to speak so as to maintain that aura of Waspness. When she opened her mouth she was pure New York City. Her mother was part of Sanger`s group, a birth control pioneer. I always had admired this movement but of late I have come to regard it otherwise. In many ways it tried to do in America what we are doing in Africa which is to sterilize people and to discourage some from reproducing (our inherent human right)

This woman is a female dog. She shouldn’t mess with Mary. No Sir Ree.
