I so appreciated seeing this documentary about Arlington. For my Great, Great, Great Grandfather is buried there in the Officer's Section Sec:3-E, Site: 1663. Major Charles David Adam Loeffler 50 years of service in the Army and was a Doorkeeper in the White House to 8 Presidents. Grant, Hayes, Garfield, Arthur, Cleveland, Harrison, McKinley and Theodore Roosevelt. Also I got to attend the burial of my Grandmother Mazie Rebecca Loeffler ( who I am named after Rebecca Loeffler-Rye) who was buried next to her husband Frank Weller Loeffler. I have been to Arlington several times but seeing this story made me appreciate oh so much more. Thank you.

I was stationed at the Navy Annex (has since been demolished) and I would enjoy solidarity and solemn moments during my daily lunch breaks as I walked through the cemetery and oftentimes witnessed many ceremonies! It is the absolutely most peaceful and precious of hallowed grounds! I served 12 years and will probably not be buried there, but learned many of stories! Awesome video!

My father who served in the USAF for 25 years and passed away in 2011 due to ALS when asked if he wanted to be buried at Arlington he said "No, Arlington is for Hero's and I am no Hero. Bury me at Quantico National Cemetery". He was a Hero in my eyes!!! Miss you Pa!

I’m from Arlington, Virginia and lived really close to the cemetery and my uncle is buried there. He fought in WWII, The Battle of Bastogne . It is truly one of the most peaceful and beautiful places to visit a great place to grow up around and a great place to ride a bike.

What a wonderful treatment of our Veterans and their families. I hope that if one visitor sees a Veteran’s family visiting a grave that they go up to them and say thank you for that person’s ultimate sacrifice for their nation.

Every time I’m in the Va / DC area I pay my respects to those who call this home. It started as a new Marine Warrant Officer while at TBS and I took my daughter there who had just graduated from Coast Guard boot camp many years later. I know a few of them buried here from my time in the Corps. Every American needs to visit here to see what these men and women have done to help make this country free. The sacrifice made in the service of their country. To witness the dedication and professionalism of the Army’s Old Guard and the respect the sentries show to those who rest in the Tombs. BZ soldiers and Semper Fidelis

Outstanding video. I have visited Arlington. Such a beautiful, amazing place. Everyone should try to visit it. If not this video will almost take you there. More personal than just walking around. You get to hear some of the families stories about their loved one. I would love to go back one day.❤❤❤😢

Nobody is forgotten who is remembered, so nobody ever really dies and leaves us. Eternal life begins with the first memory that comes to mind of them by family and friends and goes on and on and on.

A very moving film. In New Zealand, many of our veteran's graves are in a disgraceful state and their headstones unreadable due to mould, lichen and damage. Some lay in unmarked graves.

A very good film documentary. However, I am missing one part. There are no shots showing the graves of foreign officers and soldiers who fought for the independence of the United States and fought in the Civil War. The hero of the American Revolution, Polish general Kazimierz Pułaski, is buried at Arlington Cemetery. The general was buried on a plantation in Savannah, as indicated by archaeological research in 1996, during which a coffin with the inscription "Brigadier General Casimir Pulaski" was discovered. The solemn funeral took place on October 9, 2005 at Arlington Cemetery.

One to many personal laid to rest. Life in general is too short for wars and conflict that we see everyday. We are only destroying humankind and the world we live in. If only we could talk and negotiate then those who give their lives on a daily basis for our freedom and all of mankind will find Peace.
