The difference between Pokémon Go and Pikmin Bloom is that when I play Pokémon go I usually walk the same route with a lot of Poke stops, face looking at my phone the whole time. But more likely I’ll just stop by the gym by my house when I’m driving home and grab some poke balls and pop my Pokémon in if it’s my team’s color. Where as When I play Pikmin bloom I’m not forced to stare at my phone or walk a specific route and I can just enjoy nature. It rewards you for exercising instead of trying to force you too

I’m the only one in my hole neighbourhood that plays pikmin bloom, so when I saw the flowers I planted dissapear I was also pretty bummed, but then I started to took it as a challenge to keep the areas around me filled with flowers. Now everytime I take my dog on walks I plant a single color of flowers, and while they don’t last forever, it is really cool to see where I went and on which day. Also, I laughed way too hard when one day planting flowers inside my house I realized that I just doxxed myself by being the only one in about three kilometers playing this game. Luckily those flowers are gone now!

Same! (Minus the doxxing part, I've been careful not to do that haha) I really enjoy the challenge of keeping my part of town full of flowers. Having to maintain them feels a bit more meaningful to me. Seeing flowers in other places feels more meaningful too, since you know they're from recent players, not just someone who may have played the game for a week then dropped it.

I disagree about the flowers disappearing. If you live in a big city in Japan like me, there are flowers EVERYWHERE ALL THE TIME. They need to disappear after a while so your world isn’t flooded with flowers. The game is quite popular in Japan and there are so many people playing it so flowers are abundant

I’ve been playing consistently at work for two weeks now and the flowers I have planted there have not disappeared yet, and I’m planting like, 1000 a day at least. I think it depends on the amount of flowers in a certain area on whether they despawn or not

I actually *love* the fact flowers only last about a week, because it challenges me to keep my neighborhood full of flowers. About every day I go for a walk now there's usually always a route where the flowers have disappeared, so that's the route I take. It not only encourages me to walk regularly, but it also gets me to take a unique route through my neighborhood every time I go on a walk. If the flowers never disappeared my neighborhood would have filled up pretty quickly and I would have lost motivation to plant flowers.

I wouldnt mind the excruciatingly slow coin earning if you could use the to get permanent upgrades. Itd be a nice goal to strive for (like a real game lol). But coins are pretty much worthless. Just save them in case they change how the store works. Also, a tip: the best way to earn the most coins is to not backtrack. There is like a 5 minute cooldown on flowers planted. You’ll still be able to hatch pikmin but things like gym tracks are not very efficient ways to get coins.

They tried to replicate the Pokemon Go shop formula, but the difference is, that in Pokemon Go you can earn until 50 coins daily while in Pikmin Bloom you may earn like 5 or maybe 10 coins if you walk all day, and thats not balanced well enough, they should change how much coins you earn at least, it may be 5 coins for each 500 steps, that may be more fair. Also I think is fine the flowers dissapear after a while, but blooming the Big ones should be more rewarding, like find the special nectar or find special pikmins or I don't know, something more unique, because finding the same nectar than before is boring, you already find it daily just by walking

@@MaxEdrox Its calculated by the amount of pikmin in your squad. Currently for me, staying still plants 12 flowers as I have 21 pikmin in my squad. But coins is 500 flowers:1coin per planting session. So 1000 flowers in 1 session gives 2 coins but 498 flowers and another 2 flowers in 2 sessions will give 0 coins

As much as I can appreciate “non-games”, I do wish the efforts I was putting into the game were feeding into an overall purpose; collecting ship parts, a rare fight with a bulborb, maybe my Pikmin colony could build a little ant hill. Just… something. Beyond that, my number one concern is if this actually taints the public’s mind into thinking THIS is what Pikmin is and the series continues to never catch on.

I play this with my mom and sister. We like it its fun together through planting flowers together, sending postcards, seeing eachothers lvl and steps, participating in challenges together. An awesome poggers PASSIVE game that really makes me walk more and longer and i smile often bc of the charm

The thing about the micro transactions is like... They're worthless haha. Yeah, coins are earned way too slow, but then like, I don't need petals, I'm usually maxed on those. I don't need temporary planters, I already have more Pikmin than I know what to do with. Ultimately I don't see any reason I'd ever buy any of the in-app purchases (I bought the $2 starter pack since I've been enjoying the game, but that's it), which is good as a player because I can enjoy the game without the microtransactions getting in the way. It's kind of bad in the long run though because, like you said, this game is kind of doomed to fail. No one's going to spend any money if the game doesn't give them a good reason to.

I bought some coins so I could purchase one of the gold slots just to help grow one of my 8 huge seedlings faster. I mostly work from home and I been feeling sick this week so I wanted to help clear out my seedlings as much as I could. I also upgraded my petals to 250 because I would keep maxing out my nectars and then my petals as a result even when I would keep planting.

I think flowers disappearing is a good thing, mostly because it's easy for certain areas to be absolutely covered with flowers and it also prevents smaller patches of flowers from staying around too long (that way if you have flowers at your house in the middle of nowhere, you're not going to have those flowers there forever if someone wants to follow the trail directly to your door)

Weekly resets are just fine. No one should be complaining about this, like at all, and if you are, you're not thinking about things in the long-term. And long-term is what *every* mobile game strives for. The real shine of the game is personalizing your pikmin and naming them. Hopefully we get something more than just challenges. I'm level 21 but I'm thoroughly enjoying my time with the game. Even dropped some $$$ so yeah, I'm biased, but I also just genuinely love these little flower dudes. also I HATED Pokemon Go, so take that for what it's worth, I guess

Pikmin was supposed to be Pikmin 4, then when it was first revealed on the September 1st Nintendo Direct in 2016, it would’ve had the working title of Pikmin 4 and not Pikmin for Nintendo 3DS. There’s also the fact that at E3 2017, Eurogamer did a second interview with Miyamoto about Pikmin 4, where he said “I've been told not to share anything about this from PR, but I can tell you it is progressing”. He’s clearly not talking about Hey! Pikmin because that game was set to release only a month after E3, there would be no reason for Miyamoto to be silent about a game set to be released in a month.

Actually double-checked this info recently, and turns out there's newer info, albeit... a bit less on the official side. According to MyNintendoNews, insiders at Nintendo have reported that Pikmin 4 got entirely rebooted back in 2019. Honestly, Pikmin Bloom has the potential to be just as good as Pokemon GO. Add in Pikmin enemies roaming around; they can just act like the mushrooms, but how cool would it be to go on a walk and BAM, Emperor Bulblax or Man-at-Legs, go fight it. Also, treasures! Let us find random junk like batteries or light bulbs to pick up and have in a little gallery, or put in the background of the screen where you feed Pikmin nectar, they could play with those treasures or something.

Tbh I do find the flower thing kind of creepy. The first day I started playing it was awesome. Then I realized that, for at least a few days after launch, I was the only player in my neighborhood who had the game, and all of the flower trails lead to and from my house. Eventually I started seeing more people playing so my flower trails became more anonymous, but I still kinda appreciate that they disappear after a while.

Fun fact: you used to be able to get I think 150 or 300 coins or day (I can't remember which) for free, so the prices for the slots and things used to be good prices. Sometime during the beta, they removed the daily coins, and all I could see on the beta forums was outrage

I've been playing Pikmin Bloom quite a bit since launch, I'm level 26 and have walked over 225,000 steps. I definitely agree with what you said about the coin to flower conversion, I've only accumulated about 50 coins. Some of my friends are close to 100, but we still agree something needs to be done. Just seems unfair, especially on days like the community day where I planted over 11,000 flowers in one session it seems rigged that I'm only payed 22 coins. (Theres also nothing cool to buy!) A big issue for my circle is roadside pikmin. They are SO lame and getting a huge seedling that's roadside is just something we discard. I often get more excited when I just just a normal seedling from a special place than it's huge seedling brothers. For example, it was awesome when I got back from a hike and found a bunch of forest and waterside seedlings waiting for me even though i had to get their friendship up. I also think the whole progression from normal flowers, to pansies, to roses, to tulips is a bit useless. It's nice to have more variety to plant with, but at the end of the day, it doesn't change much about the game. Definitely adds more use to the big flowers, but they're still a pain to do everyday.

Another issue I've been having with the game is the lack of confirmation menus, for instance when you send Pikmin to destroy a Mushroom it just sends them right away rather than confirming that you want to send them out, so far I've fat fingered the Go button like 4 times and it really bugs me, otherwise I adore this game and play it with my mother and it's a great bonding experience for us.

It's difficult to predict the outcome of repeated effort. You ever start typing something long only for the word processor or browser tab to crash and now you have to start over? It's not a good feeling knowing all your effort got wiped away. Sometimes the second attempt is much better than the first, but other times it fails to capture what made the first attempt special.

Of course the flowers need to despawn or playing the game would feel useless after like a week and a half because there would always be flowers everywhere already. I’ve been playing and my favorite part is the daily journal. It lets you pick your emotion for the day and a picture you took that day and it’s fun to look back at the places I’ve been and things I’ve done over the weeks!

I kinda like that flowers are not forever, for several reasons, one is that it keeps you busy, sure, it's a bit disheartening, but it keeps you busy and most importantly, consistent with your walk routines. Another point someone else made, it gives the chance for other people to plant flowers, I wouldn't want new players to have no more flowers to plant. And finally, and maybe this is just me, but as someone who has grown a couple of flowers, they really don't last that much, and maybe this isn't a view one should have in a videogame, but the beauty of a flower is in that it doesn't last forever. I've been having a blast with Pikmin Bloom, even my strategic side has been having so much fun with it, if I wanted to change something, is how Pikmin interact with different biomes or terrains, as it stands now, red, yellows and blues work exactly the same, purples, whites, rocks and winged are much much better for different tasks, just makes it feel unbalanced.

@@Mabeloid I thought that was the case (along with winged pikmin) or that blues would have a speed boost while in water, but nope, also, would suck for people living in islands and such and not having enough blues. My idea would be to have certain speed bonuses for each type of pikmin as follows: Red: In cities and towns. Yellows: in forests and rural areas. Blues: in water. Purples: A bit slower overall, but lift 5 units. Whites: none, but are overall faster. Winged: none, but are much faster, if they are the minority in a group, they slow down the group. Rocks: Follow roads, are faster, lift up to 3 units.

Here's my advice for anyone doing the Mushroom challenges to do the most damage and earn higher star ranks. 1. Match the colour of Pikmin to the colour of mushroom, (I'm not fully sure about brown mushrooms yet, maybe they're neutral to what colour you send) 2. Pikmin with maxed friendship do more damage, so get them to 4♥, and let them go on their expedition to retrieve their costumes. 3. Pikmin do more damage when they have a flower blooming on their head, and more so with pansies, so feed them nectar before sending them to battle. (You can pluck the glowing petals, but don't pluck all 6 and remove the flower). I'd say with that, you can 3⭐ any small mushroom as long as you have a full squad of the right colour as detailed above. Stick with colours of mushroom that you have teams ready for. At level 21 I can get a 2⭐ on a Medium Mushroom going solo, so either I'll be able to 3⭐ win if I reach a higher level, or it's the point where I'd be expected to work with other players to win faster. Large Mushrooms definitely seem too tough to beat solo, and don't yeild good rewards if you can't get above 1⭐.

Is the flower on the head confirmed? One thing I noticed is that the pikmin can be different sizes, I have a white that's considerably smaller than most of my other whites, and added significantly less damage to a white mushroom. But, didn't pay attention to whether they had flowers or not on their head. Seemed to me that pikmin size might influence damage output, but haven't seen anyone mention that yet. (Further testing now pending.)

They don't want anyone to play for free. That's the whole point of the grind, unfortunately. This goes for every game with microtransactions, not just this one. It's meant to make the cash shop look like the better choice, so they will not be re-adjusting the grind to make it more manageable. The grind allows them to say "Well, it's not pay to win/progress because we offer a free path." They want everyone in that cash shop, and they want everyone to have paid several hundred dollars to complete the game without realizing it. Prepare for a Pikmin Return Speed Booster to be in the cash shop eventually, too. This and Pokemon Go hinge on people living in heavily populated cities or areas with a lot of landmarks and a lot of places in walking distance. If you don't live in a place like that, these games become basically non-functional. I had a garbage time with Go because I have to drive to anything in life I need or want, and there were never any pokestops when I would get to those places, on top my area only spawning Rattatas and Zigzagoons once every 40 years. I tried to make that game work out for MONTHS, but it truly does only favor cities and tourist spots. From everything I've seen of Bloom, it's leaning in the same direction, so I'm going to have to pass on it despite how much I love Pikmin. Very nice game concept, though. I honestly like it a lot.

I've been playing it almost daily for about a month, and while I like it, I see the same issues Arlo mentions in the video plus a very big one: there's no middle/long-term content, once you get all the types of pikmin there's nothing to do but raise your troop and get the gold medals, which have incredibly absurd requirements compared to the silver ones. About the currency issue, just to add some perspective: I'm almost level 33, with close to 490k steps and 64k flowers planted... and I just have 96 coins

I think my enjoyment of the game would actually be hurt if the flowers stayed forever. Imagine someone who loves pikmin only finding out about the game after a year or so. They come into the game, and the whole place is already completely covered with every color and every type of flower. Then they can't plant any, at all. Even if the whole leveling up flowers thing you suggested happened, that would still lead to the same problem, everyone else just levels up them all before the new characters.

The broken issues (I'm one of the Android users whose SMS notifications are totally blocked by this game) really put a nail in this games coffin for me alongside what you said. There's not enough, there's too much, and it hurts your phone to play, and if you want anything more it's going to hurt your wallet

Honestly my biggest dissapointment is the stickers lol I wish non-location pikmin got costumes that were at least a little bit more intereting. I dont even pick up seedlings anymore if I know they will only give sticker pikmin.

Yeah, the sticker ones are my least favorite. Perhaps they could have done something like a mini basic hat. Not like a bottle cap or anything, but an actual, miniature hat. Maybe a baseball cap in urban areas, straw hats in rural, or maybe make it country themed, like a maple leaf in Canada or something.

About earning coins, you plant more flowers at a time with a higher pikmin squad, it picks up a lot at the later levels, I have something like 120 coins by now

I don't really see any value in this game until there's other creatures from Pikmin like Bulborbs that you can send Pikmin to battle. Half of the experience of Pikmin games is deciphering how to accomplish your task with as few casualties as possible, but right now your Pikmin numbers can only go up with no way to go down because of risk taking.

I think the monetization mechanics make it possible to really factor loss in. Which is part of why I dropped it, it just bored me after I made some big progress and realise there wasn't gonna be more to it.

I think the game needs treasures or rocket ship parts to collect. Or maybe Louie can collect the stamps from the postcards? That’s really what I think is missing. Just a little bit more of a goal or point. I do love this game though. It has a lot more promise than Pokémon Go I just hope it gets meaningful and consistent updates.

I laughed at my best friend when she was caught up with Pokémon Go. She was really hunting for those things going into stores, restaurants, and random parks that weren't even close to where she lives. It seemed ridiculous to me. I downloaded Bloom to my phone because I loved Pikmin 3. I just hit level 22 with 118 pikmin. I'm getting my best friend her favorite Starbucks drink as an apology ☺️.

I play a lot of Bloom while I'm at work and during my work day I'm getting nearly 20k steps a day. I love seeing what speical pikmin I get from the big planters and walking a lot at work makes it more fun. I'm glad Nintendo is doing something new with pikmin and giving them more love

I have multiple rock Pikmin. Each one of them has a different rock pun for a name, or something like, "The Pebble", or , " The Sand Particle". I love them. Jokes aside, I absolutely adore Pikmin Bloom. Though I really don't walk, it's motivated me to actually go out and explore. And I entirely disagree with what you said about the flowers. I would have filled up the entirety of my neighborhood up by now. I do agree with the unbalanced shop thing though. I only have 6 coins. Overall though, I love the game. Very cute. I'd have to say the Pikmin I find the cutest are the purple and rock. I love the Lil Chonkers.

The only thing I don't like is that you can't combine colours. If I give my Pikmin a white and then a red nectar i want pink flowers and when i combine red and yellow i want orange, etc. I was really disappointed when I tried that and the flower just changed its colour. :(

I started playing this game in Saskatoon while I was there for work, then I came back to Toronto for six days, then I am going to Vancouver for work and Saskatoon for the holidays and eventually back to Toronto in January. Literally, I am making my Pikmin traverse the entirety of Canada. The time for them to get to me is far beyond the length of time I am in any one city the next month or so.... I'll see if I ever get those gifts!

It would be cool if there was a Splatoon Go thing where people can pick a team by what color they want and then fight over they're city using paint! And have tournaments of like "A battle is happening at a certain place where you are living" and you could go there and enter and fight by putting paint down where ever you walk!

The moment this "game" stops crippling my phone I'll give it 5 stars, because my girlfriend and I love it, it's a fancy pedometer and it's Pikmin, that's all we personally want. I haaaaated being glued to my phone with Pokémon GO, but this is my favourite franchise combined with my least favourite activity, and I get to be present with my GF and son while still enjoying the game. But... The crippling of the phone man... Bad times.

I was part of beta testing, currently at level 33. I really enjoyed the novelty of the game when we first got to play it, despite it being bare bones and a little buggy as you'd expect in beta. I feel like my honey moon phase with the game has worn off a little though. I still enjoy playing it when I do open it up, but I'm not as motivated to play as much as I used to. I just find for me personally there isn't enough to do. I almost have 100 pikmin, but I'm not huge into collecting the ones with costumes so I don't feel like growing them as much, and I agree with what you said about the flowers you plant not lasting, so I don't feel like doing it as much. To be fair I don't have any friends with the game, so maybe I'd have a better time if I played with others. But idk, I adore the main line pikmin games, so I was hoping there'd be a little more to do. I love all the little things, but the app as a whole doesn't keep me engaged long term. Maybe if they add more features down the line, but for now that's been my experience.

One of the suckiest things to me about the micro transactions is that Niantic actually had everything aside from extra premium currency and like the occasional special item box pack as a freemium option in pokemon go. All the storage for item and pokemon expansions were purchasable with premium currency that you can earn through gyms for free. It allowed me to keep at least one of each of every pokemon without spending a cent on the game. Pikmin bloom doesn't let you unlock those sorts of progression abilities for free even though other titles with the exact same setup do

The battery drain is what kills me. I am taking smaller walks now because my phone dies. I really hope there's some update later that fixes some of these problems, but I can also see where Niantic dips in and gets out like the Harry Potter game they made.

Eh, I don't mind it. Nice little thing to check up on every now and then when I need a change of pace. It's also helped me pace out better walking habits. My dog is a lot happier now that walks are more frequent 😂

I think one element of Pikmin that is missing and could improve design is obvious in hindsight: Onions! Once Pikmin are max friendship, there isn't much you can do. Imagine storing maxed Pikmin in onions, and kind of having a hall of fame that will rotate through Pikmin and places you've found in the past. Also, storing Pikmin could generate coins, thus helping generate currency, and allowing you to keep more Pikmin instead of paying with real money. I doubt this will happen since microtransactions probably keep the game alive, but maybe if onions are implemented, people could pay for ways to customize onions or have creature dioramas for Pikmin to interact with! Either way, I think the game has potential for growth. Here's hoping it gets support through time like Pokemon Go.

It’d make it even more amazing to journey around with your favourite Pikmin and even more heart breaking when your favourite Pikmin gets crush by a friggin’ Beady Long Legs variant.

I like it a good bit honestly. The way I view it, it's a fancier more fun to use step counter. Anything to get me to be more active is a good thing to me and it's pikmin which I wish I could see more of because I love it.

I was really disappointed to learn the flowers disappear, I live in pretty much the middle of nowhere so I'm the only player of this app probably in my whole town. I was feeling so accomplished planting a trail around my neighborhood, but I had to take a break from playing and when I got back to the game all my effort was gone! Sure it's just purely aesthetic, the exercise is what's important, but I was really looking forward to building my own colorful digital flower world. Still though, so amazed they made a mass-appeal Pikmin product, so cool to see the franchise attempt to gain some new life in a completely new way! Never would have expected this!

My only worry if that they'll discontinue the game... this game keeps me happy when im sad and it's perfect for gettng my mind off things when im down. Just being able to go on a walk with MY Pikmin buddies and having them cheer me up is always great, I coudnt imagine losing the ability to do that!

The flower thing is super true lol, I was playing it lot and doing flowers a ton but then they just… disappeared. And I was super bummed like “oh. So it was for nothing?” Then I got a new phone and couldn’t figure out how to turn steps back on so I just stopped playing altogether. Might pick it back up if I feel like fixing the steps lmao.

I play this game every day at work. I work near two colleges and it makes me smile every time I see flowers all over the map. Because so many people are playing it now that Pikmin 4 has been out for a few months, there always seems to be flowers everywhere, especially around the colleges.

I like how undemanding Bloom is in that I can keep it in my pocket and go about my day (unless I've sent my Pikmin on a challenge and apparently the time doesn't end until I open the game again... 17 hours later ;u;). The only two complaints I can really think of are the ridiculous rate of earning coins considering I don't get to really get out as much as I'd like to plant flowers, and that the fruits aren't labeled using their game names. BUT, I suppose "Cupid's Grenades" are Hocotatian/Koppaite names, so I guess that checks out... XD Also, I recently got a restaurant Red Pikmin, and he is SO CUTE. I named him Chef Pasketti--it seemed like the obvious choice. I'm such a child.

Everybody's complaining about how long it takes to get coins. You have to plant 500 for each coin, and it rounds down. If you plant 1500 flowers, you get 3 coins. 1800 is still 3 coins. If you stop planting at 1480 flowers, you only get 2 coins. And it has to be all in one planting session. They don't add together. If you plant 300, stop planting, and then plant 300 again, you will get 0 coins. It doesn't add together for 600. Also, I really don't worry about the coins. There's nothing in the store for coins that you can't get just from regular playing the game. Coins are just an extra. One more thing -- if you run out of flowers it will automatically stop planting. So if you're getting low make sure you switch to a different color flower that you have more of, or get more nectar to feed your Pikmin.

I thought you were going to mention the differences between Pikmin a d also their lack of. Aside from walking speeds it's pretty much only mattering for defeating mushrooms faster by matching colors

I would've loved it if different pikmin had different walking speeds on different locations, I went to an island recently and was bummed to see that blues and reds took the same amount of time to go on expeditions there. I would've liked it more if it worked like the following: All pikmin take more or less a straight path but if an advantageous terrain is near, they deviate a bit and take that route instead. Reds walk faster in cities or towns. Yellows walk faster in more rural areas or forests. Blues walk faster on water. Purples walk at the same speed in all areas, but can lift up to 5 units each. Whites walk at the same speed in all areas but maybe are faster/lift 1/2 unit (these are hard to balance) Rocks walk faster on roads and mountains, also lift 3 units each. Winged take a straight line, and slow down the group if they are mixed in with other types.

This video really made me want to check it out but wow, for me it wasn't just "broken", it was BROKEN. I can't choose an username - everything I put in there it says it's taken, but then still logs me in with a blank username, and the next time I open the app it starts from all over again. Without mentioning the crashes every time I tried to log in. It also extremely messes up SMS and notifications on Android devices, like??? Wtf? I know my experience is not unique because there are threads online about these issues. I can't believe Nintendo would slap their brand blindly over an unfinished, buggy, potentially device-breaking application. Or rather, some time ago I wouldn't have - but personally I'm losing faith in Nintendo as a brand, the more time passes the less it's being s synonym of quality. Of course, I hope they'll fix the app and have it be playable for everyone. But damn, this is still a game they're putting out with the intent of earning from it. At least test it before releasing it, make sure it works and doesn't break entire operative systems. So disappointed.

Personally I felt that the game was lacking a direction for the endgame. Pokémon go had gyms from the beginning which would give people something to continue doing and strive to be the best. Pikmin Bloom is missing that right now and I couldn’t keep playing the game when I realistically had nothing left to do in a few weeks. On top of that you could say the game is missing substantial online/social features like pvp or even exciting/rewarding pve but I will give it the benefit of the doubt because Pokémon go took years to implement direct pvp.

Yeah, but it is nice for those of us in more rural areas. I only ever found 1 gym and it was at a playground. I didn't want people thinking I was a creeper so I never challenged it.

I kinda want to have some sort of little base you can fill with a bunch of pikmin. Like you get to see what the inside of the onions (or in this case, the pikmin pack) look like, and you slowly build a little home by populating it with pikmin.

I've also seen a thing in many reviews saying that it broke SMS, which is kind of a big deal breaker. I want to get the game, but if it drains battery and breaks SMS, especially since I've had a couple issues with SMS already, I can't.

Yeah on Android that's a pretty big issue, but it can be avoided by force stopping the app once you're finished playing for the day (Force stopping doesn't seem to break any of the background features like expeditions, which makes one wonder why it needs to run in the background so much in the first place...). Don't really know how on earth Nintendo and Niantic allowed it to ship like this though, or how Google hasn't forced them to fix it. I'm pretty sure apps that interfere with the OS like that aren't allowed on the Play Store.
