Hi Arlynn..well...you have outdone yourself with this arrangement..it is stunning! I love the cardinals that are anchoring the corners,the way the colour is shaded and the way they sparkle...they're lovely. Those 'icy' berry picks will catch the light and look amazing.I had no idea that lights could be trimmed...thank you Chris. We need to go shopping for a new tree this year,and I'll be looking out for picks to help things sparkle. Love and hugs.

Wow!!! Wow!!! I would put that on my coffee table in a heartbeat! I'm going to try my first funky bow this week - for my mailbox, but need to touch up the paint on the wood first.. Got my fairy lights Saturday, will be using some on my mantle, some in my guest bath and 1 in my kitchen. I usually keep my Dining Room simple, with ornaments hanging from the light, as I have 3 teenage grandsons and they're pretty rough and tumble. But, my granddaughter loves all the pretties. Her mom puts in 4 trees, 3 of them full size, with one 5' tree in the kitchen. Love the pups at the end... Thanks for sharing your knowledge.. Beautiful work as always.

Hey Arlynn! I feel your pain in holding that ribbon.... I saw a couple of wreath makers using the bowdabra bow maker to hold the ribbon so I tried and it works great. I put my pipe cleaner down first length wise (if I remember) then just make your loops and push them down as you make them. Beautiful lantern swag and centerpiece. Everything is looks so beautiful around your home. It's not even December yet and I'm already behind! I say every year that I'm going to get stared early with the decorating but then stuff happens to slow me down. Oh well...it will get done at some point. I truly enjoy your videos, thank you for sharing.

Good morning Arlynn! I've been watching more of your videos and am amazed at how you pull everything together. On this video I love the ribbon you used, do you by chance remember where you got it from? The burgundy or red looks to be velvet? The white with silver edging maybe satin ribbon?... I can hear him in the background now and again but he NEVER pops his head around the corner to check the activity...your "number one elf"... so my inquiring mind is wondering just what Chris spends his hours doing while you are decorating? I know that my wonderful helpmate is always peekin' in throughout the day just to see how the progression is going and to take out boxes that need to be stored until after the season is over. Otherwise Jack Elf is out in the work barn doing is own thing, usually making gifts for various names on our list. So is Chris busy doing outdoor decorating (lighting and such) or just hiding to not be in the way of the decorator in chief! I have a smaller bronze lantern that has always been used only during the "ordinary season" time but I think you have convinced me to make it part of my holiday décor throughout the year. I do a lot with snowmen as I usually leave up my holiday décor at least til the end of January...yes, my trees too...but the snowmen with the lantern will allow me to keep it out the whole of the winter if I decorate with winter and not Christmas foliage. I guess you know that you are making my head crank out many a new thought. You make my husband's head shake and he chuckles as he walks away.

Hi Vicki...You are too cute...My "Number One Elf...He chuckled when I read that to him...;) ) definitely keeps himself busy out in the yard doing this, that, and the other thing...he also has a workshop in the basement, he is quite talented in his own right...He does carry boxes and helps me immensely...He as it sound as if your JackElf is, is an awesome helpmate and hubby. :)

Wouldn't trade my husband for anyone or anything!!! I know how fortunate I am that God gave me this wonderful blessing...I am so fortunate and I NEVER take him for granted. Being empty nesters, retirement is still full and that is because I have a best friend for a husband...can't ask for anything more. God love you girl for responding to my post as your heart is so heavy. Thinking about you and yours as well as those other two furballs. Know that your youtube family is feeling your pain and lifting your needs up to the greatest healing power we have. :)
