Jon purposefully pressed Kierans hand past a spiral fracture break point because he realised he would lose in straps .... He is a sore loser, malevolent athlete and poor sportsman.... I used to pull with class British guys like Rod Rambo Lenette and he would not give or take this shit.... If Paul Maiden had been on receiving end of this Jon would have had his legs broken sharpish.... If you want to try and break your opponents arm do it within the rules! You should have disqualified him Neil, had a word and not even aired such a match mate. 1st Rule of pulling is To keep yourself safe, a man can't do that if he is for all intents and purposes assaulted.

Most sports are entertaining without acting. Sure you can act out if you want before a match or during a break, if you fancy that, but during a match you are preforming. If you go in for a grey zone tackle in football and (almost) breaks someone legs you wouldn't get away with it saying "oh, it was just my character". Anyway even if you are acting you are responsible for everything you do and say, but it seems a lot of people don't understand this.

Those are the side effects that happens when athletes are to busy trying to get into characters instead of focusing on sport. I'm a huge fan of arm wrestling, I've watching it almost 20 years and I don't like the new era,that this sport have good guys and villans ,its not wwe or any other pro wrestling. Its ruining the sport

Great episode guys. Especially Neil as I can tell that he has absolutely wrestled with this topic for so long in order to produce extremely clear, detailed and sophisticated responses to a tricky situation. As someone who isn't an arm-wrestler I feel compelled to admit it was incredibly enticing to join the mob of people who through no fault of their own were seduced by the eye-catching nature of the incident and it's potential implications. But if anything, this topic serves as a reminder that things aren't always as they seem. The eye can be tricked in real life, let alone by a solitary camera angle, and I believe we should all give the benefit of the doubt to the opinion of the people that were there and who believed it perfectly justified to deal with it in the way that they have. We just need to move on from this! Neil's does so much for the sport and is extremely knowledgeable on armwrestling, so I will always take more notice of his comments then some of the armchair fans. There's a reason why in a court of law that expert witnesses are the only ones allowed to testify an opinion. Of course people are entitled to express opinions just explaining why I give more credence to Neil's and the other armwrestlers views.... As others have said i hate cancel culture too, uncle John seems a nice chap and he's apologised. If further issues ensue then conversations around disciplinary action should possibly take place. However even if that did happen no one should be harassing him and trying to fu** up his mental health! Thats just not cool. As for Prateep, he again seems a nice intelligent chap. I do get the feeling he thinks he knows better than everyone else tho. This really came across in his interview with Devon when it was almost like he was telling Devon that he knows more about him then himself. So perhaps as Neil states Predeep should listen a little more, whilst still sharing his views and passion for the sport. Love the show guys and hope the channel and armwrestling continues to grow!

Warning : Long ass comment here One thing that is really infuriating STILL about this is that you keep pointing to the competitors opinion on the matter as if that effects anything. The fact he didn't notice that his arm was a couple degrees of rotation away from popping his shoulder out or damaging the - As Bowen would say - "connective tissue" in his elbow is just a further example of how meaningless it is to point to his opinion on the matter and say "Look! If Kieran doesn't care why do you!" No offense to Kieran, when he says "there wasn't even any pressure on my elbow" it actually does your whole argument a disservice because it's blatantly BULLSHIT mate, I don't give a shit if you're John Breznk in his prime, once more, we all have arms as well, yes we're not champion armwrestlers but just like I'm not a champion powerlifter I can still use anatomical knowledge to understand the situation for their training and performances and evaluate based on that. Saying non-high level armwrestlers can't understand is ridiculous and pretentious and respectfully, most armwrestlers aren't the brightest bunch when it comes to understanding their bodies. (Cut to Bowen injuring his arm and shoulder repeatedly despite warnings to ease up by STUPID IDIOT NON-HIGH LEVEL ARMWRESTLERS) Either Kieran has connective tissue that THE Danny Tesch wouldn't even dare to touch or Jon is literally weaker than a kitten, those are the only options, it's not up for debate, it's Kieran is bullshitting, Jon is weak as a kitten or Kieran has an elbow Levan could only dream of. I and many others care because on this instance Kieran didn't get hurt, great, but the next guy could have when their opponent thinks they'll just get a foul for blatantly unsportsmanlike conduct (2 rounds in a row, NOT a single instance) and Jon deserved a slap on the wrist for it. Also by the way, you said Paul was incorrect about Kieran yelling? Why? Kieran blatantly groans loudly in pain at exactly 7:33 on your raw edition video? It's obvious that in the moment he felt something so again, him saying "there wasn't even any pressure" is just bullshit unless he meant the pressure was in his shoulder which is also possible lol. I respect the hell out of you Neil, but Dana White would hit you a slap for your handling of this situation as a promoter. If you were the one to do the scolding of Jon the community, or at least the vast majority of the community, wouldn't have had anything to say, myself included. You can still use it as promo footage for the rematch in the future etc JUST like the UFC does in these kinds of situations AND stop the backlash. You can have your cake and eat it too. Next time someone does something like this it's on the PROMOTER to be at the top of the criticism so the rest of us can just move on and feel like lessons were learned. Everyone is entitled to their opinion my man. I respect yours, you have valid points and I agree with some of it. We should also respect Neils and the other armwrestlers who are the ones putting in the work. They accept the fact that injury can happen, by accident or not. As crazy as that may seem to most of us, it's not up to us to say it's right or wrong, or argue the validity of their own assessments, it's their choice. I do believe your right that the blowup may have helped expedite change but as Neil said, they recognized that need before any of us saw the match. Upside here is the more attention, the better for the sport ☮️

After watching all sides, and having a negative feeling about that dodgy moment, it totally reminds me of a ufc fighter called something Palhares? Brazillian jiu jitsu guy, used to hold onto leg/ankle locks way too long, ignoring the opponents tapping, and literally had to be pried apart by the ref most times, he got let go from ufc because of these actions, but he was a repeat offender, he got a warning, and did it again so got the boot... never to be heard of again... This was a dick move, but afaik its Johns first offence, and people are trying to hang him for a single moment of frustration... I think it should be like Neil says, if you do that dick move, its a foul, you lose that point, if you do it again its a DQ, or if you injure them its a DQ, thats as fair and as punishing a deal as I can see, caues lets face it, this is no kings move that people find boring or abuse of rules blah ( I like KM btw) this is a bit more sinister, and shouldnt be able to become a thing...
