I remember in high school I saw this video of a American destroying this unstoppable Russian with a ponytail in arm wrestling. When I watch that video of Travis winning that impossible match. I got hooked and became a fan. So it’s really cool to see Travis getting back into it. If he can be 80% of what he was when he went against Georgie. Watch out lol.

If this boom was happening during Travis's prime, he'd be the biggest arm-wrestler on the planet. His charisma is unmatched. He's the only guy who can make Devon seem like a small personality in a room.

I think Devon stepped over the boundary. He went from 0-100 in anger level real quick. I think he’s still hurt he couldn’t beat Levan.

This got pretty terrible and disrespectful at the end by Devon. There are other people on this podcast, its not time to hear Devon talk about stupid fantasy matches between him and Engin, or complain about prior matches. Narcissistic shit taking over.

@QuietToproll4 ай бұрын
@@djay851 I don’t want to go deep into it, but remember a lot of people saying “you avoid Europeans”. Even John Brzenk said it during their press conference in 2021. Devon stayed in his comfort zone and never attended the toughest tournaments. He got his first European right arm win in 2022. He beat up and cheated on an injured John that didn’t get paid, and he became world champion in 2008 from that. Didn’t pull Denis left or right from 2008-2012 before Devons surgery. In WAL he pulled 100kg class and only won the hammer when John retired. The competition wasn’t really deep. He never got the super heavyweight hammer in WAL. I can go on, but I won’t. Devon obviously is a great arm wrestler and has a good career. I think Devon went on a European rampage in the last 2 years because of damage control. He got tired of people saying why don’t you Europeans. That’s just my perspective. Not taking anything away from Devon! Just telling it like it is. (When compared to other greats during that time)
@AnonymouslyGood-xd9qx4 ай бұрын
@@QuietToprollIt is common in the fanbase of athletes to make excuses whenever an athlete loses. When Devon defeated John in 2008, John defeated Denis after six months. Making excuses when someone loses is not a good thing. Devon's career before Evw was great enough to have the most impact on arm wrestling. Devon was the face of arm wrestling long before Evw or Kott.

Interesting how Devon talks about how he can go back to being the nice guy with Travis returning. Now Travis can be the villain again and receive all that hate. Like Devon really felt like he needed to play the villain/heel in Travis' absence I'm not really looking forward to seeing Travis return as a competitor. He makes my blood boil and I'm the just viewer. Biggest asshole and jerk on the table, ever. That's Travis

Man, Devon is still so jealous of Travis. Discourse was fairly civil for awhile, then Devon couldn't hold back and just turned on Travis like a rabid dog.
@adamwilliam28824 ай бұрын
And the amount devon has won he shouldn't have to talk like that. It's embarrassing as one of arm wrestlings legends. You can see travis was cringing at all that nonsense
