@@abuhajaar2732 when you are in the editor, place a soldier then press right mouse button, select "virtual arsenal", now you just have to watch the left and the bottom sides of the screen, there are all the information that you need

Very nice video, as usual Luetin :D I do agree with including the laser designator, very few people carry it which makes it extremely frustrating for any sort of pilot to do CAS. I actually find it a really fun role to play, you get to hang back a bit more then your usual soldier, but you are in command of ensuring your teammates are safe whilst you call in CAS. It's really about good teamwork and maximizing effectiveness :)

Nanne118 +1 on that. (UAV Greyhawk is my favorite) It's both irritating that people are quite bad at using laser markers, but at the same time, it have happend to me more then once that I bring the Laser Designator but forget to add the batteries hehe

***** Hey Luetin, have you done a video on how tho get the UAVs into the air/taxiing them for the Ahoy servers? Even following the instructions on the in game map/briefing page I have only managed to get one of them flying, without it blowing its self up in seconds after switching out of the gunner view. I know you have already made a video on how they work after they are in the air.

trued_2 Try and fly the drone yourself, it still is an AI and a fragile vehicle. Likely that might do the trick to get in into flight mode (take the driver controls and steer it like a plane )

Coloured smoke grenades can also be used to mark targets and gun runs for CAS (red for enemies) and to mark positions of friendlies (green). this use is less common on public servers and most people just mark CAS strikes with map markers instead.

As far as defaults go, this one is quite good at delivering easy to use mechanics slowly. The RCO helps compensate for longer distances and helps players start measuring shots just by using their eyes, while the Laser Designator, with its built in FLIR, is a godsend if you have a hard time spotting targets. Overall, quite good.

I would actually recommend a slightly heavier harness, considering how much protecting they actually give, and with that, taking a MX with a GL on it as well. I believe that learning to use a grenade launcher effectively is a really strong thing for someone new to Arma 3. I have always carried a grenade launcher, and with the inclusion for the GL Plate Chest rigs they have now, it's even stronger. Learning how to arc the grenades and range them effectively can help you move on to more advanced loadouts, such as a machinegunner or sniper, plus, if you get good with one, you'll easily be able to nail 2-3 guys from a distance, other then that, the set up is nice.

Damiaan Moors mostly ak12, trg, katiba and mx sw when I'm playing . The navid is getting a little heavy when running around. but when you do meet someone with a navid he has a good chance of winning with that firepower. So I guess he sticks out. But I'd run with mx sw or ak 12 with tube

OliP007 1. Yes, it actually gives slightly more stamina and a bit more speed. 2. Lasers are visible, but only the point that is being marked. IR lasers only show on NV and Thermal.

OliP007 Adding on to Crazy Spanish Guy 's comment, if you carry lots of ammo, explosives, grenades, and other gear, you go slower and lose stamina faster.

+OliP007 backpacks are actually fairly heavy, so if you'd want to use one i strongly suggest choosing the field pack. but do not take one if its not really neccesary. also, all lasers in arma 3 are infrared lasers, and will therefore only be visible trough thermal or nightvision.

hi im wondering if u can help me ,, im new to pc gaming and new to arma 3 ,, iv been trying to download theAll in Arma Terrain Pack (AiA TP) but im having problems doing it,, i downloaded it and dropped it into the steam arma 3 directory but nothing happened when i put it there,, it was showing in my directory but when i start the game it dont show in extensions or in editor ,, do i have to own the other arma games in order to play that All in Arma Terrain Pack (AiA TP) on my arma 3 ??? i see alot of mods etc in armaholic require me to have All in Arma Terrain Pack (AiA TP) to use them so i need to try figuar this out asap

hei luetin can you make a demolition-marksman/rifleman loadout for extended special operation, been playing "Whole lotta altis " and i kinda need a loadout for that cos to have one m4 (cup weapon btw it got camo) with silencer and nightstalker 7 5.56 magazine, 2 smoke, 2 rgn and 2 explosive charge with < 40% i need to use the Lbvh harness, the tactical vest have the same weight but it have a lower carrying capacity, as for other thing i use the tryk mtp, standart helmet, uav remote,vector thermal bincular, and nvg. (NO BACKPACK BECAUSE OF WEIGHT) anyway if you cant find a way to make a loadout that i need, youre welcome to use my spec-ops loadout for your video Light Infantry Spec-ops -lbvh harness -thermal binocular of any kind be it mod or default in game stuff ( i use trixie vector MK.II) -M4+silencer+laser pointer+nightstalker (i use CUP version with camo on) -.45 Five-Seven+silencer+MRD -3x pistol mag -7x 5.56 stagnag -2x RGN grenades -2x Smoke grenades -2x E. Charge

-2x medkit ( 1 if you have a medic in your squad) The explosive charge IS REALLY IMPORTANT, you never know what to blow up with it, be it wall for opening a way in, a comunication antenna, or even immobilized vehicle if youre in a pinch, a to why there is no backpack is because the weight issue hope you like the loadout, its kinda challenging but fun at the same time as having no armor makes you need to be extra careful but at the same time 40% weight makes you faster at moving around, thermals allow you to pick engament in your terms, i ussualy force contact to 300-100 meter before telling my team to open up, also having a helmet IS GUARANTEED TO SAVE YOU MORE THAN A DOZEN TIME.

David Sittenfeld everything you download you put the @folder in your arma 3 files and then select it in your launcher or use steam workshop some mods come in a zip and it has the addons folder and a couple of sqm's just makes a folder and call it @(mod name) and then do the same steps as before

David Sittenfeld An even easier way to accomplish getting mods is by using an external launcher, like Play WithSix. Althoguh frowned upon by many people for it's clunkiness, which IMHO has been fixed to an extent where it is almost unnoticable, it is still a good tool for installing mods, keeping them up-to-date (or not, if required for servers with a slower update schedule) as well as the ability to group mods together in so-called collections, which you can enable and disable for turning them on and off effortlessly.

Actually, the a3launcher is a derivative version of PWS. I do agree with you though, for the less experienced users PWS is quite hard to properly set up, but it does have some power functions which I find make up for it.
