Is there some mod your using to make flying more difficult? There is ace but i don't think that's it. I mean arma 3s fixed wing flight models are stupidly easy to fly with, and require very little training. Would love to know.

The one from this video is the old legacy version which they took down. They've since reworked and uploaded multiple mods for many of the aircraft. The bombers were not included, however.

I know sgt fullers modpack's have been added to steam, but multiple aircraft are not showing up for some reason.... did the manual download from armaholic and similar issues. None of the bombers/C10 gunship show up. Any hints?

Jaymes Young They are rereleasing those aircraft once they continue to perfect them with this new update. They explain everything on their Bohemia Interactive forum on the first post, and also state what aircraft they will and will not be including from the legacy build.

Used to play operation flashpoint when it first came out and I'm 30 now, just bought a pc after all these years and didn't realize how big this modding community for arma is. I'm learning everything from scratch right now, although I have some experience with modding in different programs, mostly music DAWS, and fairly limited.

Shortly after I posted this video, the USAF mod updated and they are reworking many of the aircraft and will be releasing them when finished. The AC-130 has not been re-released yet.

TeySper It’s the Alpha Jet, built by Dassault of France. As of three days ago, Sab started updating his aircraft pack so the skin in the video will be different now until he’s done working on it. Looks like he’s coming out with better texture pack!

Muhammad Zamir Depends on what you’re looking for. F/A-18 from TeTeTe3 has a clickable cockpit and more functionality. Firewill’s is great, and looks really good, but is more your standard ArmA jet. Both are phenomenal though.

Im kinda new to arma 3 and the game is downloading rn, and I need help do I need to buy the jet and helicopter dlc so plane and helicopter mods work or do they also work without the dlcs ?

The mods will work without the DLC for the most part. If a dlc is required it will say so at the right side of the mod page. But usually no dlc is required

F/A-18 and possibly SU-35 is extremely busted in arma. I can knock down everything except hidden infantry and stealth TO-201. High awareness combined with high firepower. Quite sad most arma players don't know how to max them out because they started out as infantry and consider aviation as a treat in arma.

Im not sure if one exists like that, to my knowledge. Not a civilian aircraft, anyway. The C-17 and C-130 is the only modded aircraft that has a walkable cargo compartment as far as I'm aware. Someone may know of a mod that I don't tho

@@giveherheadnotheadaches Sorry man I realized I never really responded to this. Was on duty and couldn't get a proper response out. Truthfully, if it has a slider its maxed out and most of the clickable settings are on High/Ultra High. FSAA is on 8x, PPAA SMAA Very High. Honestly it took me a little bit of messing with it to get the settings perfect. Once I bought a processor that could chew threw Arma's needs it was a world of difference. Highly recommend the i7 8800k chip. But also consider, when I get my visuals I'm in single player/editor and have tailored the mission to look smooth and pretty, especially the lighting. GCAM has a zoom feature that I use a lot for visuals, which is why everything looks sharper. I use that feature a lot to maximize visual fidelity while minimizing the chance for any slowdown. Choppy frames and slowdown will still happen, and thats alright. This game is huge and causes your machine to think about A LOT happening at once.

Loading up the 3Den Editor, you can drop them into the game world wherever you want and get into them. Or you can spawn yourself into them.

About two days after I posted this, the USAF mod team updated their mod and put it on Steam workshop. The one I have in this video is from armaholic, check the video description for the link.

Winking Walrus Ha, I hear you. After serving with them at Spangdahlem Airbase I agree. The F-16 and B-52 have received extensions to keep them flying as well ya upgrades. The new wings on the A10s are keeping them in the air, but overall we’re downsizing our squadrons in the Air Force. A-10s are once again on the chopping block.

Why do these Arma milsim "units" take this shit so seriously. Arma is an arcade game, and these modded vehicles are extremely low fidelity and hardly represent any real capability.

A lot of milsim units are full of active military/vets that enjoy the challenge of the multi spectrum warfare and the ability to tackle a problem together. Arma is much more a simulator than an arcade game, but definitely doesn't have the fidelity of simulation as, say, DCS.
