Sometimes I just do supply runs with the transport or construction truck & develop the spawn bases for other players. The simulator allows me to contribute to the war effort.

It’s been good for me. Im not complaining because im 24 and haven’t played a single Mil-sim game. (Except battlefield and hell let loose but….exactly.) my server fps sits around 20 and dips to about 14-15 when in groups with explosions.

@justjerm1823 ya just take your time with the game and once you fully learn it, it will be even more fun. Do you have the game set it performance mode? You should be getting 50-60 fps on that, unless they server fps drops then that's a server issue and not on your end. Sometimes I'll get 120-150 fps on pc but server fps be like 20

@ exactly exactly. I’ve got performance mode on and it’s running at 60fps. There is screen tear but it’s so minimal I hardly notice. Internet is great so that definitely helps. Overall experience has been optimistic, hopefully the player base can convince Sony to let up with the mods though. Controls are straight forward. Currently trying to learn the heli in game master. 😂

@@riotmaker650what i noticed is on 7:23 you name the icons and after heavy vehicle bay you say helicopter and a little later helicopter bay, isnt that first icon you called helicopter actually a medical bay? Not sure tho cuz im kinda new to the game lol😜

Ive just started playing arma reforger on base ps5, its a bit rougher than i expected if iam honest. I always play on perf mode on my games, but its struggling to maintain a solid 60fps. And in quality mode in built up areas, it often drops to sub 30fps. I realise its still in early access and really hoping it gets a few layers of spit and polish!

Ya with a few hot fixes and such it should smoth out! I used to play on Xbox series x and at first it was rough but after some time it was much better and got a good 60 fps always

2 hours of play ,never saw my own team or a single enemy but died 10 times from crashing a car into tiny little rocks and fence posts which makes you explode like a bomb ,you have no map marker,no idea where anyone is ,apparently you just have to know the map,all the names of towns etc but it doesnt tell you where YOU are so its a load of ball sacks,you get a compass and just have to guess where you are to begin with ,cannot believe how terrible it is ,its laggy ,clunky,awkward and is just pot luck where you respawn ,you cannot choose a location i guess as it always spawns me 20 miles from any combat,and the on screen text is so tiny that i have to stand in front of my TV ,12 inches from the screen and still need reading glasses to read the tiny,tiny text prompts ,abysmal is a good word for this shite

@David-nz6ox welcome to arma lol, this is how it is. From getting "armaed" to running 10 miles to get shot, that's how it is. Now once you learn the game more and know we're the enemies will be and predict them you will have more fun!

i also noticed that when i went into the playstation 5’s settings itself and go to screen or display or whatever its called it was in 1440p (automatic) mode, when o manually changed the resolution to 1080p the game looked a bit better and sharper, you can always try if it helps @
