@@redshift912 ​ The vehicles have their own set of issues in both games, but yes, vehicles are indeed in DayZ, but tbh the modded helis are MUCH better in Reforger (and Reforger will be getting helis added by Bohemia soon too which could be pretty cool/useful for modders to make their already good helis even better). I still can play DayZ for hours and not see a single vehicle thou, it really depends on what server you are playing on. It is just a grass is greener on the other side kinda thing, so yeah he is being somewhat dishonest, as are many people claiming this is in any shape way or form better than DayZ other than MAYBE it "looking better". It has great potential, but right now it is fun to mess around with, but DayZ is 100x better.

@@Psi depending on what server you are on is dependent on the user. Unless you are in aus which is fairly limited and definitely a bummer

FYI to anyone watching wanting to join. Deadzone has removed all helicopters recently and the player base has gone with it. OriginZ is the only dayz mod server with a player base every week. If you want to play dayz hit that server up.

There is a pretty cool mod called "Overthrow", it is SP only, but is the closest to that right now tbh. Lmk what you think of it, I haven't tried it yet, just seen some gameplay.

I hope, hope, hope, hope they'll add some nice base building/options to storage stuff, giving you tools to barricade houses/compounds like in the Arma 2 DayZ, and function much more like the DayZ mods, rather than Standalone.

@@redshift912 I would assume so, but I don't enjoy most of the survival features/mechanics in Standalone. Which is why I enjoyed Arma 2 and 3 mods more. If there are SA servers which removes alot of the in-depth mechanics, then I'd get back into the game.

Check their Discord. That is for their Life server anyway, I would advise just joining DeadZone, it's much better since it has more mods. It is currently down due to the new Reforger update though.

Definitely not played till they do something different to the combat, time to kill is ridiculous everything else looks good tho. They need some kind of collision and vehicle damage but its bohemia cars will just spawn and explode if they do that...

MOST Reforger mods haven't even had custom prop placements until recently, DeadZone HAS started doing some of this, but this will come with time, obv the game is not designed to be a DayZ mod if you are just using the vanilla map.

Already better than Stand alone. I would watch this waaay before I watch anything dayz stand alone. Arma 2 dayz mod is still the best Still. And as games get better like from arma 2 to 3.. New games = need a new pc. Years ago I could easily play arma 2 then 3 comes out unplayable on my pc. Gotta upgrade (which is very expensive ) to stay with the times. Need at least a $5000 pc to play the newer games today. Wanna stream? Another pc for a few grand. And gotta have a good big monitor of course, gotta see those pixels In before some lying troll says their $1000-$2000 pc can play everything at 60 fps, and sure you could learn how to build computers (1% can ) to save a few bucks.
