Do not be afraid to ask for a star. It's frustrating to miss them because you're the smallest ship. Many teammates will give you a reserved spot if you ask.

There are also alliances where a higher lvl player will Solo an Armada (send a ship that can defeat the Armada alone) and invite the lower level players (say Ops 25 and lower) to join. My alliance did this regularly...at least until we ran out of lower lvl players that couldn't start themselves.

Scopely needs to sort armada directives and credits in the inventory, put them in their own tab, and split them into sections by armada type (standard, Eclipse, etc.).

Thanks for the introduction video! Here are 2 tips: 1- when I was lvl 23 I joined a larger alliance and ran armadas for 3 or 4 days with them, then went back to my smaller alliance and "seeded" them once I had enough cores to build an acc. 2- if hostile pvp is a concern, there isn't a limit to the number of ships that can join an armada. If u expect other players to attack and try to kill your armada, the host can join 2 or 3 ships at a time, and make it more challenging for the opponent .

If you have bigger players in your alliance, absolutely make use of them to "punch up". They need the rewards and they will get a bigger percentage of the shared loot, but the starter boxes you get will also have much better rewards for yourself!

when you get around lvl 30 hold on to all your cosmic cleanup credits. by level 32 you can turn them in and get a free amalgam. don't blow through all your ultra recruit tokens. use some but the big payoff will be when you hit lvl 30 newer and better officers are available. max your vidar by lvl 30 and get prime nanoprobe. until you get the talios you can use your probes to turn in for faction credits for all 3 factions if locked. when doing missions for factions you have low or negative rep, do the mission all the way to the end but don't hit the complete button. instead, bank them in the archive for when you are ready to work on that faction. Save all your rare mada credit turn ins until the hijacked ships are not an option; wait till your 34’s become available. That way you aren’t wasting those hard earned shards.

Early best crew is Bones as captain, Kirk Spock on the sides. I ran that on my Northstar for ages and outperformed people with low level Bortas and Legionaries twice my size. Crew ALWAYS comes before ships. 2. An armada needs roughly half its power to kill it. 1.4M needs about 700k. 34M needs around 17M. If the host is a big players they can get by with less, but rule of thumb for 20s and 30s is cover half the power. 3. Go as big as you can. The bonus reward chest goes to the host plus 1 participant. The rest get a portion of the listed loot, divided by attendee size/power/damage. Star out anyone that brings PMC to an armada. They might be power, but their crew doesn't do anything.

One more thing on choosing an armada. For 4 seats, 35 uncommons are a stretch and need a solid support team. 5 seats, 36 rares and epics are your safe limit. 6 seats. 39s should be relatively easy, even epics. Cardassian safe is 33/36 for 5 and 6 seats. 36 and 39 are a stretch for prearranged solid team. 40+ is where 42s become viable. Stella is pretty much the same.

Armada Do’s/Don’ts ========== ATTENDEES: ========== Do try to attend as many armadas as possible. (Many armadas complete not full.) Do call out if you will be heading to the armada to express interest. Don’t assume because you called out that you will make the priority. Do bring an appropriate ship to the armada type you are attending. (Stella / Ecplise, Franklin-A / Swarm Horde, …) Do equip your ship with an appropriate crew. (No hostile, pvp, or random crews) Do understand that Rares and Epics have more value for levels that can get G3 Epic Ship and ISS Jelly blueprints Do understand that as a higher level you can bully power your way onto uncommon armadas, but if we favor rare/epic to higher levels then we should favor uncommon for lower levels. Do understand that deep space armadas are more valuable to 40+. ======== HOSTS: ======== Don’t feel any pressure to host armadas if you can’t hold at least 5 slots. Do host armadas when people are online and can attend. Do expect people attend your armada. (Solo armadas are discouraged and not possible to enforce) Do use the star mechanic if there are more people attending than will fit in your available slots. Do prioritize stars based on: --Sufficient power (killing the armada is top priority) (if power wins alone, announce that) --Prearranged Armada (specific players with specific ships with specific crews) --Appropriate ship --Appropriate crew --Coordinated crew --Level needs (rare/epic for higher levels; uncommon for lower levels depending on armada level) --Balance: Highest levels don’t need to be in every armada and lowest levels should not be excluded from every armada. More so in armada events. --Watch for trends of people not getting into armadas or always in armadas. --Favor people available now over people already in an armada. (aka, overflow)

Don't be afraid to ask for a star if you are getting bumped by bigger players. Other players in your alliance are usually more than happy to help you.

Armada loot is a great way for lower level (ops 25-30ish) players to gain extra power and get ahead. 3 tips I used: 1. Join an alliance that launches lots of armadas and welcomes low level free riders - giving an armada spot to new players is a great way to help them without costing much in the way of loot (for the many times 5 ships have more thane nough power to beat an armada). 2. Use the North Star for it's warp range. 3. Use Vemet as captain so you can do 2 armadas per hull/trip home. Put Cadet Scotty and Domitia/Helvia on the bridge as needed.

The Armada Control Center can't be built until the research to unlock it is finished first. It can be found in the Station Research tree. You do not need to have an ACC to join someone else's Armada.

Don't do ticketed events before you reach G3 economy. Just save them up the rewards aren't needed in G2 (unless it's an event store month and you really want ship BPs - plan this carefully). Saving tickets in G3 for arc event stores where you can buy BPs for some of your speciality ships is probably worthwhile in general.

1 reward for Cardassian Armadas is Alliance Reputation points. Don't be afraid to ask to join them. That plus the Cardassian loot makes them worthwhile for any player that can get there. I run as many Armadas for the lower level players as possible. I run them based on whether I am asked or if I need them for an event. I also don't exclude anyone that wishes to join, but I will not star a player who just joins without letting me know that they are coming.

Easiest way to tell if you will beat a standard armada is if your team power is 50%+ of the armada power. If everyone uses Cerritos, defiant, and exocomps this can go more like 25%+ power.

I have found that over 25% for uncommon, 50% for rare and I don't do enough Epics for a baseline but 50% has seemed to work so far.

You want a mitigation officer on your ship, sufficient shields or shield regenerate, an officer to give crits like khan or sisko.

Run the largest armada you can reach so long as you have a carry. The starter chest is worth it. Even of you can only reach it with a miner. The fessha is great for deep space war range. 3* rare chests are better than 4* rare for epic directives....

Loosely related to the topic but If you choose to hold at Ops 20-21 for a bit build your Augment rep and mine your red and green data. At Ops 21 I have maxed my Augment rep and can now pull 3130 Augment store credits. This is enough to pull officer shards Quickly Independent credit 25 = 400 points Basic Officer pulls×3 (24 shards)=1100 points Rare Officer pulls×3 (24 shards)=2000 points So you can pull 48 shards per day and a independent credit pull every 14 or, and I suggest this if you don't have a stockpile of Augment points, pull independent credits, 3 of the basic Officer packs and 2 Rare Officer packs. This will leave you with around 500 points left or enough to make day two a credit pull and max officer pull. This is easy to maintain if you mine one 4k red data node a day and one 20k green data node every week. This will also give you a data stockpile as the point pulls are 2300 red data and 1000 green data so you could "forget" on those heavy event days.

Do not ignore your stella, always,always,always do your epic stella pulls as frequently as possible, don't wait to get to the point where you need epic mats to start hoarding them. my biggest bottle neck is epic stella mats.

Dominion Solo for me 6m Defiant Riker, Beverly, Miles. Lots of damage, some mitigation. Buffed by Cerritos 4.3m Ent 5,6, Kirk. Extra loot, mitigation, extra shields. Buffed by Defiant 2.8 Sally Sisko, Bashir, Lorka. Lots of mitigation, Hull breach. Buffed by itself(armoury 28) Will take out 41 Rare solo

work on 2 faction lock start the grind for a g3 epic asap, do your research specially in to officers and efficiency, don't invest in primes till you reach lvl 39- 40 you'll get most of them for free, only prime I recommend paying for is the prime swarm refinery, and do not neglect your outlaw tree make sure you get your stella research to M80 at least.

if you are joining an armada started by someone else in your alliance don't join one that is too far from your ability level or the game will penalize you, because the rewards you get are based on the damage you did, and sometimes you will get less of a reward joining a very high-level armada than joining a smaller one you actually can do a lot of damage in

It needs to be said, ship grade/rarity?(not sure if ship rarity actually does affect it, though it is possible)/Level/Ship Power does affect how many credits you actually get (The highest ship takes the highest cut of the total armada credits available from the armada loot. It's not evenly split 3/4/5/6/7 ways).

Ship grade/rarity does not affect loot distribution. Ship power is what determines the distribution of loot. U can divide your ship power by the total power of all ships in the armada to determine the percentage of booty you will get

No matter what, the credits aren't evenly split between ships anyway. That's really the part new players need to understand. Took me a bit to figure that out about armada credits

Can someone please tell me how i can build the armada controll center? Because in order to build it i need these cores. But i only get these cores from the shop in exchange for armada credits. We go by callin " In". Depending on whether someone has a 3 or a 6 seater,first ones to call out win the spots to fill up the mada and the player running the mada says " full". Everyone ends up getting plenty of chances to pew pew or go boom 🤷‍♂️😂🥳

As a new player or on a new server, do not pull any uncommon Armada chests until you pull enough cores to get your acc to lvl 20. This let's you hit larger Armadas and get more benefits for your directives.

Teach them! I used to do 1 on 1 lessons with my guys. Run a small armada, have them bring different crews ans experiment, and then explain why the crew made a difference. Once I did that, my trainees became the trainers and our entire 80 person alliance all grew with good crew understanding for pvp, hostiles, armadas, weird mechanics like the freebooters, etc.
