I am actually doing this soft camp at 30 instead of 29 since 30 does not change lowest level I can raid, and unlocks the territory tree tech to save g3 on upgrades.

The only "problem" with doing it at 30, is that it also unlocks more epic officers in your ultra pulls. Which seems like a good thing, except that it spreads your officer shard pulls over a much wider area, making maxing epic officers that much harder.

Just last month I jumped from 33 to 35. Still at 10 million power, but this was the best decision I made. I am going to stay at 35 to catch up on my backlog research, get my officers ranked up, work on the Bajaron faction, and get the Lvl 34 and Lvl 35 ships. Also thanks to your videos I know what will be coming next, so I can prepare for it and enjoy the content.

Centurion is a smart move. Raiding is way more important than a ops 28 faction ship and you'll need two horizons.

Id like to point out that if i remember correctly level 26 is a very good level to stay and farm at for a few months. You are at top of the bracet. So on daily ranked events you will be facing players of level 26,25,24. If you stay on that level and just farm you will be able to make life so much easier later on.

Perfect information about low level camping. Currently 35 camping here. Goal before I go to 36. Max augar, Franklin A and 3 max horizon. 35 billion steal 15 billion trit, 1 billion dill, 20 million in raw ore, crystal and gas. 2 maxed vidars and 2maxed median ship miners. Maxed research all branches and lastly all officers common maxed. All romulan officers maxed. Sadly I did not grind rep for two factions so it a ridiculous struggle to grind until I can hit some big miners in romulus

The rep grind at ops 35 is FAST. Depending on which faction you want for a second, the time you have to dedicate, you can make up the 12M rep deficit in 1week. All you need to do is: 1) stop joining daily rep events and stop collecting daily faction tasks during the grind. 2) complete all missions possible for the second faction to earn as much rep as possible early to fast track you to #3. 3) do join the daily rep events and do collect daily faction tasks for new faction when they become available. 4) search the systems with level 40 veteran traders which pay the most positive reputation for the faction you are trying to bring up (no, not all traders pay the same). Hit LOTS of theses over and over and over until you reach 10M. For example, If your second faction is federation, hit traders in Ty'Gokor. 40s pay out +8k fed rep each.

An interceptor will help you during war to get a lot of kills before running. War may add a few days, shouldn't stop you from reaching dual lock

I've been level 35 for a while now total rating 12 million, I don't feel the need to level up. I can do everything very relaxed now. Busy upgrading my Gladius tier 6 (2.2 mil rating), Enterprise tier 2 (2.2 million rating) and Intrepid tier 7 (2.6 million rating). New special ship, Franklin-a is coming. Max out Saladin (1.8 million rating). Max out Legionary and Mayflower scrapping, to unlock the primes. Do all researches. The Necessary Buildings. Now first enterprise tier 4 and gladius to tier 7. There are still a few challenges, Stella and Vidar I haven't done much about that yet. Vidar is tier 5 and Stella only has 35 tech's. Maxing important officers in the game, have only burn and morale max out. Collect resources for the next upgrades. Need to learn how too raid, I've never done this before. Plenty to do at level 35

You absolutely can max a Stella at 29 if your alliance has sufficient interest in (and strength to be) running Exchange armadas...I maxed my first one at 31 and now at 32 I am two upgrades from T9 on my second, but other than choosing 31 as my camping level rather than 29 there was nothing keeping me from upgrading the components as I got the uranium for them. There is no level gate for the upgrades or the Rogue reputation, only the research, so you could even max it at 27 if you were camping there for some dumb reason. It won't be as strong as those of higher level people (even entire tiers lower than yours) because of the research that they have access to, but it will still be maxed and it's still worthwhile doing it as soon as you can. I should also note that you never want to advance your Rogue reputation beyond the minimum required to unlock the rarity of uranium you can currently spend on your Stella. The price of uranium packs increases exponentially with each rep level while the content of the packs only increases marginally. It can be a huge shock to unlock epic uranium early while you're still in the rare uranium bottleneck and suddenly having to spend 4,000 rare credits on a pack. At that point you just held yourself back.

Hi - I’m at level 29 but got there without employing any strategy AT ALL so made some horrendous mistakes. Examples: No Vidar or Stella and it’s 4400 security codes just to get 10 Stella blueprints. I was used to being able to win ranked dailies, or at least place, quite easily and get lots of RSS, speed ups and latinum. Now it’s impossible to place. My fed rep is too high for my fighting abilities so I can’t do two of those missions. Same goes for swarms - I can’t beat the level 30’s and doing 20x28 is a real grind. That means I’m barely earning any modulators for my Franklin - which isn’t strong enough, because I don’t have enough modulators! I’d rather not restart as that’s a waste of 5 months and I don’t want to spend lots of money either. It’s not all bad news, but that’s what I’m focussed on. I’ve done a few things right. I’ve now got an alt and I plan on pretty much the opposite strategy - camping instead of levelling. I only found your channel as someone sent me here for armada strategy. I have the Saladin and T3 Riker, Picard and Troi, for instance (hence not all bad news). So, any advice to fix my game or not make big mistakes the second time around (currently level 14) would be appreciate.

An important part of the raiding is to have the officers. Station killers (Khan, Joachim, Kati) as high as possible also. otherwise you wont be as efficent as a raider.

Question: Currently Ops 31 Working on the list but trying to grind Centurian BPs. I typically go to Alpha Onias but recently moved to Altanea for the higher lvl targets and survey targets. I have noticed since the move I am not seeing Centurian BPs after about 250 boxes no Cent BPs I have been told it is based on the ops lvl but that shouldn't stop the BPs as I have thousands of the 2* ship BPs any Idea what is going on I used to get 1 BP per every 50-100 boxes

I had to use 50K latinum to get Talon and Chen. I do not have Pike. I have spent quite a bit of $$$ focused on recruit packs with little success. How do you get pulls? I am doing dailys but the few credits I get always pull the same faces and are almost always standard recruits. Also, been watching your videos but I am concerned about some advice. You said if you are playing free to play, don't worry about getting ships past Tier 6-7 yet here it is different.

Rev, love your video. I have a question as to where I should start soft camp/camping. Teammate suggested that I should camp at lvl 31 but some say I can possibly camp at 33. I was lvl 28 about 2 weeks ago with a T8 Saladin (have enough crystal to max it), maxed Vidar, and 2 maxed horizons. For officers, I have maxed Stonn, T’pring, borat, Spock, Bones, Uhura, and Kumak. I also dual locked Fed and Rom. Now I rushed to 30 (finished all lvl29 researches). Do you think camping or soft camping at 31 is good or can I go higher?

You talk about soft camping at 29....the only one I completed in the list i did was a Bortas at Tier 8.... Again, i know you said its a soft camp; but everything you put on here requires a hefty amount of time at L28/29...I maxed out my researching trying to do all out of what you're asking. You might as well say....max out at level 29 and do your best. Still an informative video....it lets you know that that you shouldn't just level up because you can.

Nice video Rev, but the goal 1, max Chen, seems unreachable to me 😢 I'm camping on ops 35 and still missing 25 shards to max Chen. Since TNG, the drop rates are terrible. I'm getting 1x Chen shard in about 3-4 weeks. Today I've tried to spend some Latinum to get her and guess what? I needed to spend "only" 10k Latinum to get 1x shard 🙈😂😂 So now I need only 250k Latinum to max her or 1.5 year of waiting 🙈🙈🙈

If you're triple-locked on rep, it means (1) you can go to any major faction space without fighters on your tail, and (2) you have access to all the dailies that generate speed-ups, faction credits, etc.

@@andrew6821 right, but that's still 5 levels off from level 29 (in terms of when those bps can be used). As far as immediate benefit at 29, the biggest one is being able to get core faction officer shards to start generating transporter patterns, then getting officers upgraded.

I'm currently a 29 and thanks for the video. Rare crystal is hard to get for me. I've been refining and participating in any event/missions that drop them but it never seems like enough. Envoys only get me 1 rare crystal when I scrap them. I'd there any other way I can get more rare crystal because it's turning my soft camp into a hard one. Thanks!

Sorry, your Points to go for in 29 are rediculous Max Tlaan is hard to do, max Chen even harder. My Tlaan was maxed mid 33, my Chen T4 shortly followed after, still ages ago to be T5. Focus on maxing your primary combat ship, put back the Vi'dar, you wont have the spare crystals anyway. Start focusing on them when you completed your 28 (in case it eats crystals). 3b Steel, 1b Trit for what? At 29 its a fortune you dont really need and seems to be a bit excessive, it starts getting expensive in the mid 30s. Its better for the most guys to focus on not getting raided ;) 2 maxed horizons .. yeah, if you life on a giant crystal well you might do that, otherwise 2x T6 serves you well. Got myself a KVort at lvl 31 which was cheaper to get to 1m Cargo then a horizon. You should have a good amount of faction miner BPs at that point so it shouldnt take many Credits to complete it. Working towards goals is good, but things like max chen or two max horizons at 29 are a little to much :D Folks, dont spend your lat on common boxes, thats the worst investment of your ST FC life. You'll spend a fortune to get a bunch of nothing. 10k Lat for 10 Shards sound like a good deal compared to the actual rate, it's more like 10k for 1 chen maybe.

Agreed partly. Maxing Chen is indeed too much to ask, but you should get to it during 30-33 I would strongly advice. Maxed Tlaan is not too hard as she's a common. Vidar I would indeed put second if my primary ship is a Sally, otherwise don't save on it. You'll be very thankful for the vidar when grinding for you epic ship. Fully agree on the horizons, they are much, MUCH too expensive in crystal to upgrade that far.

Maxing T'Laan is not that hard - pretty much all the starting uncommons are easy to max, especially compared to some of the epics and rares. My T'Laan and Chen are maxed at 29 and didn't take that much at all. RNG help? Possibly, but to assert that because it was hard for *you* doesn't mean it's hard for everyone. As Rev pointed out, the stockpile of resources is to get you prepped to build out the buildings at 30 so you're not sitting around. Bubble discipline is important for everyone. Someone just sounds bitter.

Max T'laan wasnt that hard.. i got that at 29 without even trying ;). Max Chen on the other hand... oef. I do agree on the maxing your combat ship first, the vi'dar after that. Especially going for the Saladin. It eats up rare crystals and so does the Vi'dar. Horizons.. well, i have 2 at T6 and that is enough indeed!

I wanted to try and max out my base and research before going higher, but would there be any benefit in me going to 29 or 30 such as better daily rewards? Is there any drawback to going to 29/30?? Currently I can be attacked and 1 shot by lvl 40s so I have to always shield to protect my base. Thanks

As far as your goals for 29 soft camping... I don't have any of them.... No TP unlocked yet thou I'm buying Klingon credits daily to help with this. Chen/T'Laan tier 3&4 but not enough lat to max them No Vidar.. I wasn't playing when this came out thou I am 60/100 Sally nearly T6 Bortas Tier 4 No Stella or Franklin yet :(

I'm now at 30 and although I still don't have some of these goals done I don't see them as needed. Chen is t4 and I can farm lvl 36 traders forever and go up to a 38 system for daily quests with nps. T'laan maxed. Vidar is t3 and starting to work on it more because.. Sally is t8 so I got this one done, it's no longer hoggin all the crystal so Vidar and traders can be worked on instead. Resources - this one makes the least sense to me. I've been hovering around 300m PS for ages and although many upgrades cost millions of PS I get millions back from events so my PS numbers stay about the same. Trit is 180m now and steadily increasing, Dilithium is closest at 110m. I do raid to increase these when I can but not being held back by not having billions. Stella - all reaseach done till 31 so this one is also on target Frankling built and upgraded to t5. Still no TP or maxed Horizon but do have a Kvort building and will level it high enough to have a better raiding ship.

At lvl31 my base is almost 16 mill with no ships and 20+ mill with best ships. I can crack bases up to 20 mill with 1.7 mill sally but it will be expensive. As you level up you recive more rss from daily events if im not mistaking. I been sitting on lvl30,31 for half a year now. One downside is the daily ranked events. Like ranked officer exp you will face players 10 levels above you

@@adikmen007 I've moved up to 33 now. Still not quite Chen maxed but everything else is long since caught up. Closing to maxing Vidar, Sally already maxed and starting to go for Enterprie Augur shards. I never found the lack off rss lower down to be a problem as my rss have been steadily increasing for months.

I'm of the opinion that if you can handle the dailies at the next level, you should go to the next level. The rewards get better, and you consistently unlock research that can help speed up progression all the time. Holding yourself at a certain level any longer than necessary is simply holding yourself back. I'm saying this as someone who is currently ops 30 and upgrading ops 31, and is intending to stay at 31 until at least a bunch of the key research I need is complete before going higher.

@@ColonelFusion I noticed going to a new event bracket and finding leaderboard events a lot more difficult to win. It isn't only about dailies...winning enough lower leaderboards put me in a better position to compete when I did stop camping.

@@ColonelFusion I tested to make sure I could hit level 32 swarm, as those are needed for the dailies at ops 30. I was able to kill 4 in a run when I hit the button to go to ops 30. Because of the buildings and research at ops 30, that number has jumped to 10 in a run already..... Staying at too low of a level really does hurt progression imo.....

I 100% agree with this. Arbitrarily camping at a level is willingly getting millions or hundreds of millions less parsteel and trit or hundreds less of uncommon crystal/gas/ore from the same daily missions and goals. Camping levels literally costs you tons of resources and delays progression for arbitrary check marks.

His approach might be the most optimal when it comes to these different milestones and leveling up accordingly, but as you get to these levels the time you have to spend on this game also increases rapidly while also missing out on a few things. Personally I find the time that this game requires pretty insane. And that’s coming from a me being only level 20! Here’s my approach for those that want to take it a bit slower: Hard camp at level 20! Do it for years! Don’t let scopely trick you into leveling as it means you need to spend more time and resources. Besides you are missing out a lot in terms of new officers. Yes the competition for officers like Riker and Picard is brutal in the level 30’s and up, but at level 20 it’s a walk in the park! Now these officers are game changers so when you are talking about the greater good that’s something you can’t beat. And there will be new officers coming for you to grab just as easily. Milestones at level 20: 1. Get all 3 factions to respected. This will help you in getting more faction credits which in turn help you to upgrade your officers. 2. Build 3 north stars so you can mine for those 3 factions. Don’t worry about the small protected cargo. Your strength (350k) and your reach (level 39 systems) is your protection at that level. No one above level 24 can attack you! Again, you do this to get the faction credits to upgrade your officers. 3. Max out all the faction officers including the ones from the transport pattens. Optional: build 3 Kehra and max them out for base protection. If you put those strong officers on them your base will be nearly impossible to crack so you can take a break for a month and not have to worry about your stuff being gone. Once you’ve been going for a while (say 1-2 years), you’ll be Godlike at this level which means you can freely move around and do whatever you like without being attacked / harassed. I estimate that you need 4-5 years before you get all the above milestones if you don’t spend (much). Oh yes, and you win all the daily, weekly and special events that are passing by. This game has no finish line so there is no need to level up as quickly as possible. If you’re able to enjoy your time with this kind of hard camping then this might be something for you.

I wouldn't max the horizon. You get the faction miners pretty quick. Build a horizon but don't spend uncommon.

And about raiding; I'm not a big fan personally because 1) I feel like a bit like an *sshole doing it and 2) lots of (raided) people would call me that too.
