Its usually a sign that its amazing and out of the box. Feefo doesnt like any rappers that dont rhyme on the beat or that you cant catch a punch line or reference on the 1st listen He said he "doesnt wanna be a Debbie Downer" and he isnt, hes more like Simple Simon. He usually goes 1st and when he says "I just couldnt get into it." Im like, "cha-CHING, I gotta check this shit out."

I HAVE TO AGREE TO MY MANS.. FEEFO NOT FEELING IT MEANS ITS PURE EASTCOAST BARS AND LOFI SAMPLEDLIA BEATS. I believe there is Renaissance happening.. it's crazy to me lol nas x and nas share the genre of music how??? I mean I hate the overly gangster aggressive fake shit too.. people want a character not the art of HIPHOP... Dumb rap is CAPITALISM..it's not god and Earth's. It's not pure to the artform..

@hiphophead555 I respect Feefo's honesty. Not every so-called real rap artist has to appeal to every "real" rap fan. You can love the culture without necessarily enjoying every single got-damn aspect of it. Plus, I think the difference between Feefo and the average listener who prefers mainstream stuff is that Feefo is open to giving abstract rap a chance! You may not think he tries "hard enough", but not everything is for everybody, and that's fine.

Excellent review guys! This album is fantastic, been a huge fan since Race Music. The first listen was hard because for some reason I felt disappointed but I kept holding on. After my 4th listen I finally cracked the coding lol. The way they flowed over these beats are just mind blowing. I think this album has potential to be better than Paraffin, so far they're tied imo. Everything you guys said I totally agree beside Feefo, I never expected him to like it anyway lol. Armand Hammer discography is nuts, have no clue how they do it! This is album can easily be my number 1 or 2 album of the year. There's so much to unpack and that's the fun part.
@Tod-sc4lm4 жыл бұрын
I don’t blame you, I do like Parraffin a little bit more but I wouldn’t be surprised if this becomes my new favorite Armand Hammer project. On first listen this entire project blow my mind. Billy and Elucid are otherworldly with there flows, cadence, and lyrics. I love music where you have to pull back the layers to really understand and appreciate.
@rainman4154 жыл бұрын
@@Tod-sc4lm well said Son! This is right up my alley as well. I love how the cover relates to the overall theme. I know that seems cliche but the message really connected even though it can be abstract throughout the run. Paraffin is probably their best but this album is really unique compared to the other three. What do you think they will do next?
@Tod-sc4lm4 жыл бұрын
rainman Exactly. That’s another thing I love about Armand Hammer, I have no idea what they could do next lol. There so uniquely abstract and esoteric with what they do so I have no idea what to expect and they can always hit me with a curveball. That’s one of the many things that keeps me and avid listener. Like you mentioned with the front cover, you only will know what it means if you take the time to figure what they mean. It fits the theme and what they talk about in there music in a very unique way. Artist like these always have a message which is what I typically like in my music. Pretty much everything you said is also how l feel. Lol
@Sn3aKyK1LL3R4 жыл бұрын
I'm with Beezy, i love Quelle Chris, but his flow was kinda annoying and a drag to get through. Earl was also disappointing but he didn't take away from the track. Akai Solo killed that feature though, easily the best feature on the album (R.A.P Ferreira 2nd). Brilliant album, still one of if not the best of the year. King Tubby song of the year
@20thCenturyPox4 жыл бұрын
What is this 'No Politics' shit I keep hearing? Hip-Hop is the most political contemporary musical form. In that sense it is the successor to what used to be called folk music. Rap music without politics is as worthwhile as hair metal. Anyway, Armand Hammer is delivering the goods as usual. That is all.

Coming back after a few months, this album is not delivering for me like Paraffin does. Beezy's right about the production being too varied to be cohesive, and a lot of the features let the album down heavily. Armand Hammer is still the illest but I want a more focused album next time.
