I remember in one of the first interviews I saw on youtube between these two, Armie was asked what Timothée had that made working with him so special. He said, and has said many times since, that it was Timothée’s open reactions, with no protective mask. I’m pretty sure that is why we are so aware of his feelings. I only hope this doesn’t count against him as he gets older. Armie can see that he needs protection, and has chosen to do it, despite knowing all the rumours this generates. Someone confident in his own “self” will defend and protect a friend if necessary and screw the world. I do wonder if Mrs H. will tire of being hauled along everywhere to support Armie. Still, she gets to travel 

armie said the same thing in a red carpet event! that timmy is this open and giving person ! he could easily protect himself but he doesnt! i think the reason why their somewhat in awe of each other is they are so different from each other, luca said something similar to that! but some how found a common theme, and because of this movie and becoz of luca!they"ve now shared an experience. that theres alone! people might think becoz armie has the experience and him looking like that they pressume he got it handle but armie is probably more sensitive than timmy, because he" s been into the ringer in life and in his career while timmy seem to be in the opposite of his experience!even though they have experience failures and disappointment they approached it differently! so thats maybe hammer seem to or cant help himself but to instinctively protect him in some form or another. you could see this even in interviews.. timmy seem to welcome it!

Tes - I'm not sure Armie is more sensitive than Tim, but he handles situations differently, and I'm sure his advice has helped Tim over this last year deal with the welter of publicity, gossip and general intrusion into his young life. As he said earlier, no-one knew him, but they sure do now. Now if Armie needs someone to help, console and protect HIM, I can provide my address here in New Zealand - well away from the big old nasty world. Just sayin' :)

Chookas Chookas I'm basing it more on Armie's words even though he never elaborated on it his family never welcome the idea of him in show business! I thinkI read somewhere he was to the point of being dis own!..he can from a well off family! He grew up in Cayman islands and his own words sheltered from the world not spoiled but not Hollywood or Los Angeles , he was bullied in school because he didn't fit in! It was so bad he stop going !Timmy on the other hand grew in new york and art is welcome nurtured even! So it's very different! ..even though his establish now ! In this is what Luca said explaining why he think armie had 2nd thoughts on doing the movie! He's unsure he can't bring the volnurability" of the scenes not just explicit ones but the mostly the emotional scenes,Luca said" armie is used to be look at ! But not seen!!"....I emphatize with that becoz of similar to what I went through ,I understand why he does that to Timmy , he didn't ask to do that for him but hammer seems compelled to..

Yes. It's a beautiful friendship. This video is twisting their special bond as their characters Elio and Oliver. Timothee only sees Armie as his "Brother". In these videos Armie looking at Timothee and staring at Timothee as if he's crushing on him, is questionable to me. Just saying.
