I am very new at archery. I owned my first bow at age eleven, I am now seventy two. My first bow was a Wood long bow made of hickory I think. Unfortunately it had a crack in it and broke. I have always wanted another bow, but I didn't get one until about a month ago. I watched many videos and saw the Turkish bow from AF and purchased it in 35#. I've been watching your advice which I like because you are really down to earth and have a nice simple explanation that is easily understandable. All your instructions have been beneficial, but I just watched the one about locking the bow shoulder, wow! It improved my arrow group tremendously! Thanks for All you do. I am hooked on archery and you are the bomb!

Thanks for the lesson. I think I understood the concept. U start slowly, let the muscles learn, once it catches up,gradually increase the phase and repeat until desired speed is achieved. Its a slow procedure but slower speeds would reduce the risks of errors.🤩🤩🤩🤩

it's what we talked about monday with beginners at the club : the time we need to be connected to the "shooting space" see the center of the target, draw,, and release, 5 to 6 seconds ziiiip tok !

Re writing your muscle memory should be the title. Very good advice.

It is excellent advice, to use the same rhythm. Whenever I get frustrated with my shooting, and I try to think about how far I draw, maybe hold one extra second - it always results in a worse shot. For today's session, I will let my body shoot and try not to think, except for visualizing the arrow hitting the target as I draw. Re-programming with the slow motion method, might be for another time if I feel I need it.

I like how when you sped it up, instead of going from 4/4 to double speed, you changed into a 3-beat waltz. Austria is running off on you ;)

Thx for the vid! I am transitioning from regular archery (with 35#-60# @ 28" bows) to *warbow* archery! Any 3/5-minute tips/lessons for warbows? Unfortunately, information about warbow form is very very sporadic in youtube :/
