NOT a lore debunker, but I have a "small" hunch about the lore: An anonymous user has sent Armis to embark on a mission to protect 'A'. Even though they seem to be bad guys, they have proven themselves to be useful in not only bounty hunting, but also in bodyguarding. Also, they have chosen Armis instead of assigning the Tempus guild because they don't want to be affiliated with them. One of Goldbullet indicates a "betrayal" of an someone or something. Meaning, that another guild will be taking shape, this time taking a project of their own. My hunch is that this organization is taking part in the "ALTER PROJECT". The aim of the project is to create an alternative world where the corruption wins and takes over the world, just like in Shinri's 3D debut where he mentions all the heroes failing to save Elysium from the beasts.
