Armitron is definitely underrated. They're lean and mean when it comes to functions. Everything you need and nothing you don't. Therefore they tend to be cheaper than their Casio counterparts. I have that watch in a black on black with the back/negative display. It's sinister looking. Nice vid.

Armitron and I go way back. I have a basic analogue and an old dive watch from the 90s. I just revisited it by buying an Horizon (20/5477). Their website wants $55.00 for it. At Walmart it’s listed at $31.00, but when I scanned it it was only $13.00! Beautiful watch.

I have two of them and they are solid beater watches. Armitron is generally ignored as a brand or mocked by snobs. They are a fantastic value for price. I'm enjoying the channel. Armitron rocks

@@MirrlyonTime No. They're the same size which is fine. I have a 40/8353 green camo which cost $40 on Armitron. My second is a 40/8284 red- black which cost $15 on Amazon. While most can agree on Armitron's value and practicality, snobs will criticise size, styling and quality. I still maintain that Armitron sells value.

I had this watch for years now, took it through swimming, running, falling, and hiking since the start of HS and now I'm finishing college. I have yet to change the battery and has not failed me once oh also light scuba diving tooo it works mighty fine.

Actually the hatred towards Armitron comes from Casio fans. They are watches that mark very good time, resistant and durable.

I have this same watch model. I got it back in December of 2018 from Target I think I paid about $27.💰💲 I'm still using it and have not replaced the battery. I love armitron it's a great brand.

Thanks Wes, I did a review on a g shock my buddy bought, and honestly I didn’t see or feel much of a difference in build quality. The anti shock component in a g shock would be the major difference I think, honestly not sure that the feature warrants the extra 100 plus dollars you would spend to get it.

I've been getting the SMAEL G Shock type of watches on temu..super cheap, they are giant watches, very cool and pretty good for a cheap watch, I discovered these armitron watches on Amazon.....19$ I got the orange and gray, and the navy blue one, these are absolutely beautiful! I honestly thought they would be bigger, but they are smaller than the SMAELS I've been getting, nevertheless these are so awesome! For 19$ u can't beat it, armitron has been around for yrs, as a kid Ive had many armitrons, I've become a tactical watch collector, I love them all, unfortunately I keep to the cheap ones, I wont get a g shock just to much I suppose, this way I can have 10 knock offs that do the trick....just tell time baby! Love these armitrons.....highly recommend

I have several armitron watches and they are great and probably one of the best value for money digital watches brand out there Regarding this model i think it looks cool and bold but he lack countdown timer which it is important function to me and i think to any and many digital watch fan who consider casio watches for example till now. Armitron has other nice durable and great looking watches (bigger and smaller) which have all the functions anyone needs at digital watch at price range between $19-$23 so maybe this particular model is not the best you can get at this price. @@MirrlyonTime I did subscribe! I like digitals, wear them often as it suits my work better than the others as I work mostly from home (so I don't have to dress for clients) and the work is physical. Though my wrist is about as large as yours, I find a lot of these modern digitals just too big. It's kinda of hard to find one (except possibly Casio vintage style ones) under 42-ish mm. As to Armitron, I've seen them on the internet though never in real life. They are not common or readily available here in Brazil. I did check out their website though and I see some of their models produced by local brands like X Games and Lince (both owned and produced by Orient here). Which makes me wonder whether Orient is 'homaging' Armitron, or the opposite, or even whether Armitron and/or Orient pay a third company for their designs. Some of the Armitron watches look exactly like Xonix, which being an Asian brand, I suspect, may be the origin of many digital watch designs (even if the different companies work out their internal parts differently). Regardless, I enjoy very much watching content on other brands of digital besides Casio. Casio have earned their undisputed title of the 'King of Digital' due to their history, durability, variety, presence in all kinds of price brackets, etc., but other companies have good offerings, too. I for example have 3 Casio digitals and 3 X Games digitals. I find myself wearing the X Games ones even more than the Casios as they are just as accurate, have all the features I want and just fit my wrist perfectly, are a bit more comfortable than the Casios (maybe because they use silicone straps as opposed to resin) and due to the fact that they are produced by Orient, will probably be as durable. Again, great video, keep those digitals coming :)!

I luv this brand i only deal with big watch face’s 52mm and up ever 💪🏻💪🏻. I have the all black model. The model i have doesn’t have the N,S,E,W letter’s on it at all. But still a dope looking watch. That people think is a G-shock lol 😂.

I have a slightly older model but face looks the same. I have been able to change everything except the day of the week! Any suggestions? I have Armitron Sport 40/8189.

Not sure about that model but the day of the week may be linked to the year the watch is set to. I did another video on armitron watch that was yellow if you look back on my videos. You had to set a number at the first setting which corresponded to the year, so in the case of that watch it had to be set to the number 20 for 2020 and then when you set the date it automatically knows what day. May be the same on that one?

Oof, Super Cali needs to go on a diet after this watch. 'Take a licking and keep on ticking'? Hope you don't get sued lol. This is indeed rugged value for money at 30 dollars. And i do like the look and color combo on this. Armitron isn't completely unknown, but overshadowed in this segment of the market by the more expensive Gshocks. Don't worry about scratching an acrylic crystal. Polish it a bit with some tooth paste or some poliwatch paste. I prefer acrylic over mineral precisely for this reason. Your Vostok will look brand spanking new. Btw, congrats on the 23 year wedding anniversary. And congrats on the 400 subs mark.

Super tough rate it G shock tough work heavy construction very few watches make it a whole year ,paint,gas, concrete,wood stain scratches ,can not even button labels ,even recessed letters are wore down flush .
