I just picked up the Armitron sport watch with the same size case and face, but the analog/digital version, in black with green strap, and orange/gold buttons and indicators. For $32 on sale on Amazon, it was a total steal. It's big but comfy, very legible, and looks great, and seems very durable. It's not a GShock Mudmaster for $300 but so what? It's still a good watch. Armitron is based not far from where I grew up (as a very young child) in Little Neck, Queens. Still a US-based co., but not manufactured here, alas. Neither is TIMEX anymore, anyway. Armitron's quality is ok, Casio's is probably better overall, but Armitron, at least their sport watch line, is good value for money, especiall if you dig the big face type watches.

Armitron I'm very impressed they have Epson watch movement inside I believe that this Armitron company is just as good as Casio in some ways better for example Armitron alarm operates for one full minute whereas the Casio it's only 10 second alarm however this could run down the battery although the battery is so simple 2 change CR 2025 cheap battery simple the change these watches are awesome much cheaper than Casio

My wrist is the same size as yours and yes you are so right, the watch is a big boy. I also agree with your assessment about the pacer mode being an odd, weird and I will add, just my opinion, an unnecessary feature. The watch has so many positives, ( I would only have it in yellow which for me is part of its charm). Overall, it is a great watch and again I really enjoyed your perspectives. Be well. Stay safe. I’ve always been turned off by Armitron, but this looks like a great beater! The pusher design looks great, and I love the yellow. The step down tapering of the strap gives it a great look on your wrist.

My first time having my hands on one. It was loaned to me by a friend who bought it and watches my content so that was nice of him. I actually like this watch a lot too, only wish it was a tad smaller! Well 7mm smaller and I would have bought one, would be great at 45 mm I think

Armitron is more to it than meets the eye they used the Seiko movement Epson Seiko so give Armitron more credit than they deserve they are darn good watch for half the price of Casio

I can’t remember but should be in the video somewhere. Turning off the alarm will only silence alarm mode if you have timer mode on you have to stop it and then reset

Very nice and informative review Chris. Quite right on the 5th mode being weird. Can't really imagine what they wanted to do there. And yes it would be great to compare this to a Gshock and see if the double or triple price or even more on some models is justified. I have a square Gshock with the composite bracelet that i bought for around 150 USD if i recall correctly and in my opinion it is well worth the cost (given that it's solar, has bluetooth connection for quicker customization with your phone, atomic clock sync and it is really really sturdy). But would be cool to see your take.

Hopefully my friend gets one, the one he is looking at is quite nice, digital and analog both. Pretty sure the specs on one of their sub 100 (US) models was similar to this watch, resin not rubber band but not sure of the case material. What is yours made with, the band, Rubber or plastic, the case?

@@MirrlyonTime If i remember correctly, the exact model is GW-B5600BC-1BER and the case is resin and the bracelet is a resin composite. Was surprised how good and comfortable the bracelet actually is and how easy it is to resize. With the regular resin band and with the usual (not negative) display you can buy it for around 100USD i think.

Watch the video again, when you set the watch the first number I believe is the year, so you want to make the number 22 as it is 2022, and then the right day will appear when you set the month and date :) The first step is to set the year everything follows from that

@@ezequielcovella5481 ok from my research PA stands for pacer and the numbers are the settings for how many times per minute you want the watch to beep. Would come in handy if you wanted to match your running steps with the beeps, the more beeps the faster you would run in that case. As for bezel I would need to know what is on the bezel but usually a bezel would be on a three hand anaolog (seconds minute and hour hand) and you could use the bezel for a timer by putting the pip at the minutes hand….
