Armitron is on a roll. They're rapidly evolving from a company that made cheap-but-decent-if-unremarkable watches into one that makes affordable-and-desirable ones. I think it started with the retro Griffy and this is their next it. It has all the cool/fun factor of a Swatch for 50% less money, and with a mineral glass dome, it would appear to be a better made product as well.

If it's not a chronograph, do the pushers do anything? My first timepiece of any kind was an Armitron digital stopwatch on a lanyard - ah, good memories.

Great job of the OP to heart your comment and not respond to your question. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) I don't have this watch, but my best guess is that the two pushers are used to set the date and day of the week dials. You COULD integrate those features into the crown I suppose, but that would require two extra ratios, as you have to be able to set the date and day independently of eachother. So to answer your question, the buttons probably advance the date and day of the week wheel by one unit per push.

Love the Santos but throw the cheap plastic,low -waterresistent Armitron back in the ocean from whence it came.Maybe the fish will appreciate the lume and be able to read the day close up!🐳🐋🐬🐟🐠🦈🐙😀
