Armored Core 6 Update 1.05 New Parts Quick Preview (Lammergeier and Weapons)

No hidden chests here, all parts can be bought in the shop, assuming you've beaten the game at least once. If you have not and want to know when you can buy these parts, here is information from the leaked PDF originally found by u/INTERSTELLAR_MUFFIN:
WR-0555 ATTACHE - Available after the "Escape" mission.
VE-60LCB - Available after the "Escape" mission.
DF-GA-09 SHAO-WEI - Available once the "Attack the Old Spaceport" becomes available.
PFAU/66D - Available once the "Attack the Old Spaceport" becomes available.
All of the Lammergeier parts are available once the "Attack the Old Spaceport" becomes available.
This information may be outdated and wrong, and I will update this if new information is found. Good luck in ranked Ravens.
Item descriptions:
/ WR-0555 ATTACHE - Heavy machine gun developed by RaD.
An essential tool of the trade for RaD’s “sales reps.” The
briefcase-like compartment contains a replacement barrel for
particularly heated business discussions.
/ VE-60LCB - Variable laser cannon designed by Arquebus
ADD. Linked high-capacity condensers take the output of this
weapon to new extremes. Charge to power up shots, leaving a
damage trail in their wake.
/ DF-GA-09 SHAO-WEI - Light gatling cannon developed by Dafeng
Core Industry. The specs of this weapon place a greater
emphasis on ease of handling than is typical for Dafeng-
apparently, the outcome of a “suggestion” from the Redguns.
/ PFAU/66D - Handheld pulse missile launcher developed
by Schneider. The missiles create energy explosions on impact
that cancel out pulse barriers. Charge to switch to a burst
firing mode for improved rate of fire.
/ Lammergeier Head - Prototype head part developed by Schneider.
This proof-of-concept model reduces air resistance by adding
an aerodynamic visor above the camera eyes. Defensive
performance, however, was never a consideration
/ Lammergeier Core - Prototype core part developed by Schneider.
This model strives for a lightweight build to the point of exposing
the core block itself, putting Schneider’s daring engineering
showmanship above pilot safety.
/ Lammergeier Arms - Prototype arm parts developed by Schneider.
Development was influenced by Arquebus HQ, which vetoed an
early plan to treat the front legs of the LAMMERGEIER tetrapod
frame as arms-or more accurately, wings.
/ Lammergeier Arms - Prototype tetrapod legs developed by Schneider.
The distinctive transforming front limbs of this model are built to
improve aerodynamic performance, part of a design dogma that
focuses only on speed in the air.

I feel like the missiles, the machine gun, and the shoulder gattling are all going to be very meta. the missiles because of the uncharged tracking + charged burst damage the machine gun because it's actually a good close/midrange stagger pressure the gattling gun because now we can finally fire all weapons at will lol

Quad legs can hover in the air, you can also shoot all weapons by pressing all the weapon buttons at the same time 😊

Attache HMG needs buffed. Only 20 more damage than the Ludlow with half the firerate. 5 rounds per second x 62 damage per shot = 310 DPS. Ludlow's 10 rps x 42 damage per shot = 420 DPS. Attache is dealing 3/4ths the damage as the basic machinegun with even more recoil and slower projectiles. Even the Turner is outpacing it in damage.

The Shao Wei does have a shorter continuous firing time, but in turn it cools down much faster, making it much easier to burst-fire with compared to the Hu Ben.

I don't mean to be a stick in the mud, but they ARE gatling guns. They are supposed to be able to shoot continuously without over heating by continuously cycling through barrels. Over heating that quick defeats the point of them entirely.

@@elegantcat1496 here's 3rd attempt of commenting, pls don't delete this one youtube. A. Lower mass compared to equivalent arm+weapon. This means smaller inertia to move weapon around, so weapon aiming speed was faster(not to confuse with lock on speed). Also by trading off versatility of hand, this can give "Harsh, cold, more realistic war machine" feeling.

@@elegantcat1496 B. Higher reaction force capability, thus better tracking performance while firing. On AC4/FA if your arm isn't powerful enough compared to the reaction force your rapid fire weapon is creating, then your arm's tracking become extremely slow or doesn't even move at all. Which means, you have the lock-on but weapon is not aiming it at all while firing. Weapon arms are basically weapon attached to core, so all that reaction force can be directly fed to Core. There's no arm to give-in to that force. (Actual in-game weapon arms has better tracking in most cases)

Gives more 'burst' firepower I unfortunately can't link anything at all, but if you search my video titled "RPCS3 Armored Core For Answer Steam Deck Experience" you can see how powerful triple grenades can be. In AC4/FA weapon arm was only way to fire 3 weapons simultaneously. Currently in AC6 one can even fire 4 weapons but you still can't fire dual-weld bazooka/grenade at the same time even with tank. Imagine all the lights, sounds and adrenaline a quad grenades could give! That's why I'm really hoping to see a weapon arm!

Back gatling overheats way too quickly. That's gotta be an oversight. Overheats too quickly to be useful as a suppressive fire weapon to build stagger. I hope they fix that.
