Holy crap, I'm late, but thank you for covering Mrs. Theresa! For some reason, she always stood out to me in AC4's lore, despite not even appearing in the story proper.

She is an interesting one and no problem =) I hope to cover them all one day.

I mean i do have an armored lore series/channel now. But its not on this channel.

i personally think Mrs Theresa, Being the only lynx that was employed by GAE. Fled BECAUSE she was their only LYNX pilot. GAE didn't really have any other Employees other than her so having her lay low was a better choice than losing her or GAE wouldn't have survived and merged with another company. they weren't just in Conflict with GA america, but also against their allies like Rosenthal, Omer and the Anatolia's mercenary. she wouldn't have a chance even if she defeated the mercenary. because then Memmo Ruh would of stepped in and killed her. Two birds with one stone operation.

Yup, you never want to have nothing to bring to the the table or have no force to back up what you do have. Also, the dirty jobs sounds like she was busy after that.
@HeyPachuco5 ай бұрын
@@slowjamsliver7006 just a possible theory here since it mentioned that: it could refer to some of the activities for ORCA before their initial debut. Torus wanted to keep an honest business and face with the League, but still allowed Theresa to take on these jobs for both income and benefit to the closed plan. its possible that she may have died early on in the Economic wars and prior to the ORCA revolution if otherwise retired, thus replacing her with Neo Nidus with a fully completed Argyros Model. again this is just a rough theory.

And I would agree with you that she fled. After all why lose your only asset to odd stacked so against you. Better to flee and fight again another day.

Thanks for another video, its strange looking at Armored Core 4 stuff. I only rented the game as I later bought For Answer, but a lot of what that game did sticks with me. I also remember finding it really funny that the game had an optional hard drive install to speed up load times but it was only marginally. PS3 was a beast of a system and I still play PS4
@joewas22255 ай бұрын
I still play PS4 too. Thinking about booting up the PS3 & play For Answer. Never beat it but I was close.
@armoredcorelore5 ай бұрын
I admit it is a comfort game for me along with others on the ps3. Yeah there is not much difference is there, but I admit I have been playing the ps3 and 3ds more then anything these days.

I'm sure you can do it lynx.
@SmugLookingBarrel5 ай бұрын
The reason Mrs. Theresa was absent is because she tried to fly from Europe to America for business but they wouldn't let her take her Karyon onto the plane. ...also, I'd love to see if you could beat AC4A as Lisa, see if Oldking could have actually succeeded in his mission if you weren't there to stop him.

Ha ha Mam your giant next is above the weight limit. Can you lighten it somehow or leave it with a friend? I'll add him to the list of can you beat.

Mrs. Theresa having TORUS parts instead of GAE parts in ACFA is TORUS' formation in a nutshell.
@armoredcoreloreАй бұрын
Plus credit to her for being one the lynx to make it to acfa.

I always liked this lynx. The way her AC changed between games felt like a player with a tried and true craft getting upgraded with new parts in the sequel

Evolving with the times, i like it.

Wow! We got a lore vid and a 'can you beat' video in one!? Regarding the 'dirty jobs' she did, my guess is she was in Asia stealing Arisawa's designs. In AC4, all grenade launchers are Arisawa designs. In AC4A, Aldra makes the Travers arm and back grenade launchers, which are the only non-Arisawa grenade launchers as far as I know.
@armoredcorelore5 ай бұрын
Yes must have been that week off made me do more ha ha. Nah they should all be like this really. Still there is nothing about the jobs so it could be anything at this point. But i like the idea of her off stealing stuff.

How on earth is she so low ranked in FA?
@HeyPachuco5 ай бұрын
Ranks are determined by how many jobs you've taken, and how efficient you are as a pilot. Mrs Theresa was appraised based on how many jobs she did for the league, but considering that her records shows that she lived off on "dirty jobs" is evident that she's been doing these jobs without the consent, approval nor speculation of Collard to keep them on their record, thus does less jobs on paper for the league. it could also be with age that she doesn't do much in the economic wars and performs less than even the most unreliable pilots, like Don moro, but isn't as insane or reckless as Champion Champs. Perhaps her rank was much higher before the player was introduced. but started to fall off as new generation pilots showed up, and she was slowly dying off.

Yep this pretty much this hits the nail on the head.
